Hard done by really, ref and linesmen were genuine cunts. Sterling won't do that again, whereas Johnson should be burying his chance. Numerous injuries to contend with and still put in a hell of a display, just a couple of mistakes and bad luck (rather than any real intent from City) that cost us.

I expect Rodgers to reinforce how unfortunate we were and to take positives, so that we can go and smash the inferior (to City) Chelsea.

We can be proud of this performance. We played the toughest away game of the season and we could have won it or at least get a draw if not for a ref error and some lack of concentration in front of goal. We were there and gave them a match to the last minute. We showed that we are title contenders.
Pity that we could only bring on Moses and Aspas when we needed some fresh blood. We must strengthen the team in January.
I just hope the lads are not exhausted ahead of Sunday's game at Chelsea as this is a game we can win.

Once coutinho went off we lost the link out of the back. We got pushed further and further back because no one could turn in tight space and find an outlet. Too bad his to end product was so abysmal other than the goal.
