to close to call this game because this is Liverpools Cup Final

I think some of them might have ideas above their station. The Arab owners have come in and they've purchased a good side, but if they think for a second our cup final is playing against them, they've got way ahead of themselves.

I don't know why Kenny hasn't played Gerrard and Adam to play together, I think with Adam deeper and Gerrard further up would work perfectly

Bellamy doesn't want to play 2 games in a week because of his (dodgy) knees, he hasn't played 2 games in a week for at least the last 2 seasons ergo he won't play against City.

I'm not so sure. Cardiff are his home team club and he was helping them try and get into the EPL last season and I'm 99% sure he didn't relax his "one game a week" policy. I'll check this on soccerbase.

Huh, shows what I know, he played twice in a week for them a couple of times last season. I hope he risks it tonight and we can then rest him in the FA Cup match.

It was just a hunch but glad he did indeed play a few times last season.

Hopefully he'll do the same for us, we're so much more threatening with him on the pitch.

I guess that we feel that he'd be more effective playing one game a week.

i.e if he plays one a week, he may be involved in two goals
if he plays twice a week, he may be involved in none.

I have no idea if that is true, but it's plausible.

I did think the same aswell, I suspected he wouldn't play so soon after Friday (he still might not), but he's been going on on the Offal about facing them so if he doesn't figure, it doesn't sound like he's opted out himself.

I really think Johnson needs to be given a stint on the right wing. For this game it would mean he can drop back and defend when needed but also be given more licence when counter attacking.
