Luis Suarez pwned by the Lizards and is Staying, and has said sorry to BR and teammates

Thing is though... ever since Kanchelskis being forced to move to Everton by the Russian mob... and then we've seen it with Tevez and Falcao and Masch and loads of brazil / portugal transfers, weird deals, weird ownership arrangements and posturing to get big moves every couple of years... there are more vested interests in these player's lives than we know. It wouldn't be a massive shock if Suarez has to move to repay a favour. Would explain why he'd settle for a shithole like Arsenal too.

Seems far fetched. Those with third party ownerships are known to have just that. Otherwise third parties wouldn't receive anything as clubs won't know of their existence.
It's areal shady business but it's also allowed by law in South America and parts of europe. Can't see how Suarez would be owned by some secret third party mafia.

Or hes just a selfish baby who never gave a shit about anybody but himself from day one and cant even keeps his lies straight anymore. No need for conspiracy theories.

1) It's only an idea innit. I'm not saying it's true. But protection is a real part of many lives the world over... Liverpool included.
2) The reason I'm thinking about it is that a move to Arse makes zero sense on his career path.

Personally I think he just took it for granted that a major team would come in for him, and so felt confident burning a lot of bridges with us. And so now Arsenal looks like a reasonably attractive move.

My guess is it's more specific than that. I reckon Real tapped him up and he and his agent trailed their coat in front of Arsenal as a way of moving things along. Unfortunately for them, either Real have cooled on the idea or they're playing a very long game and not letting the Suarez camp in on it. I'm sure he does want Champs League football but I doubt he actually wants to go anywhere but the Bernabeu.

If that's the case and he does go to Real, a small consolation is that Arsenal, their legions of cunty fans and Piers Morgan will look like the utter cunts they are.

I kind of hope he goes to Arsenal now, for a huge fee, it would be a disaster and he will win fuck all there, Torres Mk II. Their entire team is built around keeping possession and working nice triangles, he gives the ball away more than any player Ive seen. You either need a team entirely built around him or hes not that productive as we saw during the first season and a half of his time with us

Torres has won a Champions League, FA Cup & Europa League, no frogetting the trophies he has won for Spain too since he left us..

Oh, I'm sure he probably had some positive contact from Real at the start, but whether he did or not doesn't really impact on my suggestion that the main reason he'd find it difficult to do the sensible thing and just stay another year with some guarantee of going next summer if we don't get CL, is that he felt confident treating us like shit because there'd be teams queuing up for him, and that hasn't materialised. So now Arsenal looks a relatively good prospect.

For one reason or another, he expected a move to a major club to be forthcoming, and it wasn't, and now he's in a bit of a mess.

Wen you consider how he was treated and how he spoke of the club, he really is a despicable character if he thinks he can walk to a rival.

DENIED!!!!

Some talk about a new bid from Arsenal today. Twitter seems to think we've told Suarez we wont sell him to a Premier League rival, only Real. If Real dont bid - he stays. Which is pretty much what Rory Smith wrote a few days ago re us not selling to Arsenal.

Real will likely be frustrated quickly with Levy's stonewalling and switch attention to Suarez. I'm expecting a Madrid bid for Suarez by the end of next weekend.

As much as anything I can't believe how unnecessarily stupidly Suarez has handled all this. It's no good demanding CL football if no club is willing to offer it wants to sign you, other than Arsenal, who never really even threaten to win it and are far from guaranteed qualification next year (or even this year). It'd be best for everyone if he knuckled down for another year and we guaranteed to accept, say, £40m for him next year from a foreign club. That might give us an outside shot at CL football anyway, and him the time to try repairing some of the awful damage he's done to his reputation (IMO the only plausible reason that so many big-spending clubs could have avoided him this summer) with a good season in the league and the World Cup to follow.

Of course, it's pretty much too late for that now, because he's acted like such a total scumbag.

That's pretty much spot on, IMO, with the exception of the last line.

Suarez should hire Cavani as his spokesman. I think that's largely what Luis has been thinking but he thought the media angle was an easier approach. If he'd been honest from the start then most fair minded fans would have understood. We wouldn't have liked it but would have said fair enough.

I think he can still repair the damage but it will take some effort.

If he starts scoring goals and wins us games on his return, the fans will like him again... They really are that fickle...

If he gets us champions league football the fans will love him again...

If we finish above the Mancs, the fans will be ecstatic about Suarez.

If he wins us the title.. The fans will want to have his babies...

So Yeh they will forgive him...

In fact he only has to do one of incredible Suarez type runs into the box and score a cracker.. I'm sold...

One thing that you can say about Suarez cunt or not.. He won't sulk all season like ladyboy did. The guys a winner and will play his heart out, you can almost guarantee that...

I'm quiffing and I'm sure some comparison has been made already between the sort of fee Suarez is being linked with and that of Bale but IMO the correlation is way off.

IF Bale is deemed worthy of an £80m price tag (which he's not) then IMO Suarez is worth about the same (he'd be worth more if he wasn't 2 years older than Bale).

With some of the crazy transfer fees of recent years I'd say that "fair value" for BOTH these players is about £50m.

If Suarez doesn't leave I'll bear him no ill, I don't think I'll ever take to him like I did Torres though, and this summer has just confounded that feeling.

This is what I've been thinking too (wishfully perhaps?). Levy's potentially our secret weapon in this.

Age and ability are two factors yes mate, but you've got to include attitude, history, professionalism, track record, reputation, and disciplinary record when evaluating multi-million pound investments. And on all of this, Suarez is a far riskier proposition, thus his value decreases in comparison to Bale.
