OK I shouldn't have mentioned it I certainly wasn't trying to cause an International event, I found myself bored on a message board and typing, I wasn't slagging the Irish at all just chewing the fat. Whatever was said was also actually writing of the wider context of my happening to rate the fella and backing him up after his recent press conferences.
As for the little Englander bit well...guilty at times...fucking foreigners.... but you can read my other posts on supporting England if you like.....It happens though that despite being English through and through I'm also about as Anglo-Irish as it gets family wise having been brought up in an Irish speaking household while my grandparents were alive. Maybe that's why I look for such minor differences in delivery... I can easily spot them.

Ultimately Suarez is the best player we could get out of all this so it makes sense to make every effort to keep him. If we are still finishing 7th next summer then it's a no brainer he can go.

Sometimes during press conferences I can almost hear skiddle-dee-oidle-dee music in the background and I'm not afraid to admit that it's hard not to picture Rodgers in one of those big pilgrim-type hats and those shoes with the massive buckles, a clay pipe sticking out of his mouth as he lulls us into liking him with his dulcet Irish lilt, and so on and so on. If he doesn't like it he should speak with an English accent, after all he is in England, not Ireland.

Death threats made online to Liverpool striker Luis Suarez are reportedly being monitored by police officials, who have warned against aggressive conduct on social networking sites.
Suarez has been consistently linked with a move to Arsenal during the last two weeks, leading to angry tweets from a number of Reds fans.
One account with the Twitter handle @JoshuaWhateley posted a message directed to the Uruguayan striker which read: "If by any chance Liverpool do accept a bid, and you move, I will find you and I will kill you."
Another fan is quoted by the Daily Star as posting: "Can Arsenal just f*** off. If Luis Suarez leaves I'll hunt him down and kill him."
A police source issued a statement to the Daily Star on the messages earlier today, declaring: "People should be aware they can be held accountable to the law for anything they write on social networking sites."
Liverpool have rejected two bids from Arsenal for Suarez in the past seven days, with managing director Ian Ayre adamant earlier today that forward is not for sale.
