Luis Suarez pwned by the Lizards and is Staying, and has said sorry to BR and teammates

I very much doubt Suarez will stop scoring goals so i'm not sure what your point is.

My point is that you seem willing to excuse absolutely everything he has done for us, and anything he may continue to do to blight our name and patronise our support because of your fairly glib "footballers aren't moral" stance.

Get some balls.

He's going to Arsenal. It's so improbable that it's going to happen. Plus the fact he's a cunt.

we really need to just keep him. we'll still get the money next summer so why sell now? he's a fucking bell but i don't think we can get top 4 without him, even with 50 mill to spend.

We should not be selling him. Particularly to Arsenal. I wasn't worried in the slightest about this happening, which has in turn made me worry that it will happen, bizarrely.

Sell him.

40M/50M/Whatever gets you 3 things:

1 - Rid of a cunt who clearly doesn't want to be here. It'll all happen again next summer so all you're doing is prolonging the agony. We're not going to win the league this year, so we don't need to think short-term.
2 - A world class centre back. Which is what we badly need. 20-25M will get you any CB on this planet.
3 - A world class replacement. Attacking mid, striker, whatever, 25M-odd gets you a fucking good footballer.

Those 3 things would improve the team. That's what this is about.

Sell the fucker.

Please, if we disowned every player that did something we didn't like we wouldn't have a squad left.

Bellers was a total cnut alot of the time but I never saw you wanting rid of him.

Why not? Van Perise score 38 goals for Arsenal the season before last and they still did fuck all. I couldn't give a fuck where he goes.

we won't win the league but we might make top 4 and then be able to attract better players when he leaves next summer.

Hello Apple, meet Orange.
Pffft.

Just because your level of tolerance to what a player for LFC can and cannot do in order for you to want to get rid differs from others doesn't mean we need to sell Suarez.

Selling him would be a massive mistake for next season as both our short term and long term aims hinge on getting back into the top 4 this season and with him in the squad the chances of that happening increase exponentially

I'll tell you what will blight our name, us finishing in the bottom half because lets be honest that's probably where we'd have finished in the last few seasons if we didn't have Suarez.

Yes he's a bad little fucker at times and has undoubtedly damaged the reputation of the Club but did you see United fans disown the likes of Roy Keane and Cantona during their trials and tribulations??? Or currently Rio Ferdinand, Giggs, Rooney and co??
They've all been involved in off-field shenanigans for one thing or another??

What about A.Cole and John Terry at Chelsea?

Point i'm making is, footballers are no angels. That's not saying going around using Racial language and biting people is acceptable because it's not but at the same time when you've such a valuable asset like Suarez you can't just say 'ah just get rid of the little cunt' without thinking of the effect it'll have on our results.

you've actually managed to sound like you haven't got the brain of a seahorse here.

I've read that twice, and I still don't understand it.

We didn't make the top 4 last year, or the year before with him.

I'm not saying he was the reason for that, but it's clear to me we need more quality across the side, and 50M odd would help with that. We conceded too many goals last year and without a fucking wedge of cash, that's not going to be addressed. Sure taking Suarez out of the side leaves you with a 25-30 goal gap, but I'm confident that can be filled by full seasons for Sturridge & Coutinho, plus whatever Aspas, Alberto, a fully fit Borini, and whomever you bring in to replace Suarez with can offer.

Not to mention the benefit of losing his corrosive influence on the club.

It's a no-brainer for me.

Ha ha how obtuse can you get?

Just because you can cite an example of how Arsenal did f*ck all (I love how your example of f*ck all still has them in the top 4 and well above us that year but we'll leave that aside for now) the fact remains sellling our best player (and possibly the best player in the league) to a direct rival for a top 4 spot is a really bad move and any average arm chair fan could tell you that. Never mind someone who professes to know as much you like to think you do.

Like I said to Skully above. If we sell him, and buy two world-class players with the cash - we will be a better side.

Plus, we will have one less megacunt.

Could someone sell this thick cunt a consonant?

So, on the old site it was 20 posts per page. Now it is 25. I think we'll get our answer when we hit 80 pages. Keep it up aussies!

Yeah but with the pressue on to find a replacement/add to the squad , can we trust the club to invest the money wisely ? And can we even attract players of that quality anymore?

I reckon he'll be sold and we'll end up with an Aquilani situation all over again .

Much, much easier said than done though mate.

We'll have just sold our best player and with no Champions League it could prove difficult to persuade two world-class players to join us.

Rodgers has bought very well so far (IMO). And with 50M to spend, I'd trust him to do it again.

That is very true but I'm sure we could bring in another player, that is

a. as good on the ball and
b. as good at unlocking defences and
c. Scores as many goals and
d. Creates as many changes for the team and
e. Works as hard as he does and
f. intimidates opposition defenders as much.

He's not in decline, he hasn't had a really bad injury (like Torres) and he's locked into a longish contract so there is no reason for us to risk replacing him at this stage.
