Arsenal have launched a fresh bid for Liverpool's Luis Suarez.
Arsene Wenger believes the talented Uruguay forward can inspire Arsenal to the Premier League title and has consequently sanctioned an offer for him in excess of a club-record £40million.
A bid of £40m would trigger Suarez's release clause but Arsenal are understood to be offering an initial £35m and a further £7m in add-ons, meaning there is no certainty that Liverpool will accept.
