Luis Suarez pwned by the Lizards and is Staying, and has said sorry to BR and teammates

Well done Rodgers!!
That's the kind of statement I wanted to hear from him.

I always thought he would stay 1 more year at least, hopefully that happens because with him in the side I think we can realistically look at cracking the top 4

Great interview from Rodgers there. We don't want to sell and if we were to even consider it, it'd have to be in the £50m+ region. Oh and you owe it to the fans you cunt, you know you do.

Well done.

Brilliant interview from Rodgers. About time we showed we won't be pushed around. I'd definitely rather suarez stays as we really do need him this season.

We're definitely saying and doing the right things this summer, I hope our actions follow our words all the way through.

Finally, although it's not good to air dirty laundry in public, he has
1. Put his foot down with Suarez been a cunt, without calling him a cunt
2. Put an end to all that buy out clause bullshit
3. Put it up to that cheeky Guardiola character(and our cheeky Suarez character)

Right you are, soz.

It puts Pere Guardiola in his place because it sends out the message that we hold the cards and we're ******* well going to play them our way.

It's good that the boss is sending a message putting Luis in his place and showing everyone that we won't be pushed around. I really hope we are successful under BR as he is doing most things right and deserves to reap some rewards

this suarez to arsenal nonsense , i haven't really paid much attention to it but it's still trickling along . surely he'd be fucking nuts to join them !! is just being in the champions league so important ?

Sounds like interest is heating up, more outlets reporting Arsenal upping their offer, and Real Madrid offering us Higuain plus some substantial cash.

It better be substantial. Madrid had verbally agreed on 23m for Higuain with Arsenal until Napoli's interest, and now they're saying he's 35m. They can fuck off. 40m plus Higuain.

How so on Guardiola? and Brilliant on the Loyalty commentary. Puts him completely in his place.

Basically what Judge Jules said. But after a reported amicable meeting at Anfield last week Guardiola was reported to have asked clubs to bid £40m in order to trigger a sale clause, Rodgers is giving Guardiola the finger with the statement:
"Obviously for a player of his quality, when you consider that Cavani has gone for £55million you know… Luis is up there in that bracket of top talent."
“Obviously it was an offer we didn’t deem worthy of the talent and even if they came back with that kind of amount (£55million) there’s no guarantee he would be sold even for that because we are trying to build something here."

I really hope the board stick to the stance that Rodgers is showing. 30 million in today's market isn't a lot, especially with the foreign ownerships splashing the cash. Roma's 19 yr old defender cost PSG €32 million and their signing of Strootman cost them €20 million (inc. add ons). Then there's Real Madrid's rumoured €40 million valuation of Higuain.
