Of all the players to hit 20 league goals in the last twelve or so years, most of them only do it once - some of the names on the list are shocking btw, hello James Beattie! Of all the players on the list Tevez is probably the best comparison to Suarez for a number of reasons, he did it twice. I think Suarez will go close but just might not play enough to score 20 again.

I've said it before - I think for most players there's roughly a three year window where they are at their best.

If you subscribe to that theory (and the dutch goal totals should be divided by three) you would have to think Suarez has just had the first of those three. So it's up to him really whether or not he's worth more or less next season.

after everything thats happened i don't buy that he'd suddenly decide to stay , especially with a few weeks of the window left . He doesn't give a shit about us and won't settle down until well into sept and he's close to playing again . Even then i suspect he'll be a cunt all season , he doesn't have to worry about form for the world cup , he's an automatic starter for them so will be picked regardless .

Actually both quotes are BS. It would matter to any player going to the WC that they are in the best form and condition they can be .... no-one would want to go there and be an utter flop. Especially so for South Americans at this WC. Hence he'll play to the very best of his ability at LFC and try to be in the form of his life .... like it or not.
