Well typically a players peak value is at around age 26.
One year won't make a huge difference so long as the performance is the same. But I've doubts about him having a season like the last one.
We have a habit of hanging onto players too long and it costing us a lot in the end. So we'll see if 40m is on the table this time next year.

Luis Suarez: Liverpool striker has not told club he wants to stay

Luis Suarez has not contacted Liverpool over his future despite being quoted in Uruguay that he wanted to stay.
The striker is reported to have said: "For now, due to all of the people's affection, I will be staying."

However, the 26-year-old last week stated he wanted to leave Merseyside to play for a Champions League side.
He is due back in training on Friday after scoring a goal in his country's 4-2 friendly win over Japan in Rifu on Wednesday.
Liverpool, who have rejected two bids from Arsenal this summer, had urged the striker to accept he will not be sold.
The latest media report originates from a journalist who has close links to the player and the El Observador newspaper also says Suarez may sign a new contract.
Suarez, who joined Liverpool from Ajax for £22.7m in January 2011, scored 30 goals in 44 appearances for Liverpool last season.
But speculation has grown about his future since he was given a 10-match ban in April for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
The player was angered when Liverpool rejected Arsenal's bid of £40m and one pound, which was designed to trigger a release clause. He believes Liverpool had failed to honour a verbal agreement by turning down the offer - and outlined his frustrations last week in interviews with two national newspapers.
But that appeared to harden Liverpool's stance, with owner John W Henry saying Suarez would not be sold to any club.
Manager Brendan Rodgers ordered Suarez to train alone, told him to accept he would not be leaving Anfield and said he needed to apologise for his conduct

£40m won't be on the table next season, you know that, we all know that, no one will pay that much for a 28/29 year old, so it's a pointless exercise, unless you want to revel in saying that we should have sold him. It's a difficult position to be in - World Class player may help you get where you want to be VS World Class player gets sold now while his stock is high, in the hope that we invest the £50m wisely.
Both ways are equal gambles IMO, putting aside how much of a dickhead he is.
He'll be 27 next summer Mark. That'll be our last chance to get good money for him.
If he's world class he'll have another season like the last one and the fee might be higher.

Of all the players on the list Tevez is probably the best comparison to Suarez for a number of reasons, he did it twice. I think Suarez will go close but just might not play enough to score 20 again.
