Luis Suarez pwned by the Lizards and is Staying, and has said sorry to BR and teammates

And how the hell were they not to know about it? There are Polar bears in the fucking arctic knowing about the clause. And if they didn't know the exact content they still triggered it? Why do we know about Costas clause?

If Suarez and his agents showed good faith in keeping their mouths shut, then nobody would no about it.

The clause doesn't say we have to sell. Thats Luis intepretion of it.

We could easily negotiated a fee around 65-70 mill and put the ball in their corner. But instead we joke about it on Twitter and accuse Luis for being the (only) one neglecting his contract.

The Costa situation is different. You're obliged by Spanish law to have a release clause in your contract.

Its similar to patent law. You can invent something, draw up the application, file it. All well and good. But if the Patent Clerk finds that you blabbed about the invention on twitter two years ago, that's the end of it. No patent. Because once it is out in the open, you cannot prove that someone has breached the patent or is just acting on what you wrote on twitter.

Same thing with Arsenal. Once the clause was out in the open, you cannot prove they made their bid in good faith and Suarez being an el rato had no impact. Especially when you see it is a fucking solitary pound over the precise amount.

I don't think they'll get that with Suarez. Rodgers is quite right - he sacrificed quite a bit in terms of how he wants the team to play in the long term to maximise the effectiveness of Suarez in the short term. Wenger won't do that. Add to that the fact that Wenger hates troublesome players and it makes no sense that Arsenal are so keen to sign him.

You are suggesting then that he did this just to unsettle the player, thereby rendering him of little utility to us and strengthening his own challenge for fourth at no cost.

it doesn't say that the bid has to be in good faith... It is the reaction to any bid that has to be in good faith.

No, I'm not. I'm just saying I honestly can't see the logic in what they're doing.

they want to unsettle a world class player and make his position unattainable at the club so he can leave to less money.

Well that's a possibility but it seems a bit far-fetched.

By the way: Suarez has just been shown driving into Melwood singing to himself and grinning at the cameras. His massive titness is expanding all the time like a lab experiment gone wrong.

Obviously not singing YNWA...

Carra's on SSN now, preparing to make the league cup draw. On Suarez he said he was surprised about his attitude. He said when he went in last week to train for Gerrard's testimonial Suarez didn't seem the same person, didn't train properly.

You are right that I guessed to begin with. But I can get away with that because I'm very good at it. During my PhD I pretty much guessed the conclusion just from the feeling I had during the experiments. Then I had to run the numbers through the model and plot the final answers out the night before I handed the thesis in. It was worrying for a minute as I was thinking fucking hell dantes you've gone too far this time what the fuck were you thinking etc etc. But it worked.

Luis Suarez can’t seem to shut up at the moment.
Days after talking to the Telegraph and the Guardian in order to outline his (now proven to be false belief) that Liverpool had broken a promise to him allowing him to leave Anfield, Suarez has opened his door to another major news agency, Marca.
By inviting Marca into his house, the immediate reaction is to wonder whether the Uruyuagan is trying to court the attentions of Real Madrid.
Along with Arsenal, Real Madrid have been tipped to make a move for the wantaway Liverpool forward, and speaking the Marca – who are based in Madrid – would be an easy way for Suarez to send signals that he is open to moving to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
So what about the content of Suarez’s interview with Marca?
The centre-forward talked about the quality of the Premier League, however he then dropped the killer comment that if an offer from Real Madrid were to be lodged, such a bid would be hard to decline.
A copy of Marca’s interview with Luis Suarez, which only appeared in the newspaper and not online, can be seen below.

That's why Arsenal would be mad to bid any more for him. He'd inclusive only be going there because a bigger club haven't targeted him and would then spend the next year or two agitating for a move to Spain.
