Absolutely useless cunt today. Couldn't even string a basic pass together.

How this bloke won the same trophy as Kaka and Ronaldinho is a fuckin joke.

Wow. That's like listening to a conversation recorded on a gramophone with a dirty needle bouncing all over the place.

It's remarkable how Rafa has all the time in the world for youth at central midfield, when it isn't making an impact, but he can't risk time for Babel, who he spent a LOT of money on.

He seems to dislike Babel's inefficiency to track back, which is why he favours Kuyt and Riera

He's had plenty of time to teach him that aspect of his game. It's not difficult.

But Benitez sees that as Babel's fault, and his own stubborn ways ,means until that fault is sorted, Babel will never play regularly for Liverpool

Lucas is fatally flawed as a CM in that he can't tackle at all. Now a better player might get away with it, like Scholes say, but as Lucas offers little in an attacking sense either, I do wonder what it is exactly that Rafa thinks he offers us. What is it?

Yea, I get that, but why indulge NGog EVER in attack if you have a player who clearly behaves like a striker, who has shown they can score goals, quality goals, and needs game time. Let's be honest, Babel doesn't like tackling, he's quite soft in that respect, he won't go after even a 70/30 ball, he's just not fucking interested and he's shit at it. Because he's a striker.

The last couple times Babel has been put on he's clearly been told to drop deep, and collect the ball, rather than being in the box, even if he's played as a forward rather than a winger.

Why does Lucas after a couple of times looking like shit out left get all this time in his favored position, looking out of phase with this spacetime, while Babel who has had inconsistent results, cannot be tried as a striker, when we have Keane who is blatantly in some of the worst form of his career, and we need a fucking goal.

I don't think Babel will neccesarily turn out to be anything special, but I think the risk vs reward on him, when what we generally need is a goal, is better than with Lucas.

IF Rafa has taught him that aspect then it is Babel's fault. Sadly we don't know.

Either way, Babel is being a cunt recently. Bollocks to him.

He was very very poor in the first half. Looked like a tranced out deer in front of a pair of headlights. Too scared to close down, touches on the ball were either too hard or too light and that's when he 'managed' to pass it at the right angle. Seemed not to read the game at all. Better second half, some passes actually reached their recipients.

I dont see how Rafa insists he's Gerrard's replacement ?

fuckin deigo forlan looking cunt. He looks like he's gonna trip up over the fucking ball when he passes it. He might aswell be showing players his fucking daisy chain when he decides to tackle them. When he does decide to put his handbag away he gets booked and gives away a needless freekick near our penalty area. It was a fuckin travesty that alonso was not in the startig lineup ahead of him.

we had 7 0-0's last season, from memory. I dont think Lucas played in any of them

we have lost league games with our strongest side like Gerrard, Alonso etc. including this season and had two other 0-0's

it's ridiculous people are on his back specifically. the fact is, the team wasn't good enough yesterday not just one individual but a whole heap of them.

Don't let them forget about his performance against Chelsea last season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spacker, lucas was the worst player on the pitch yesterday.

The others who played badly have done better on countless other occasionsan because they are, broadly speaking, good players

The anti-brazilian cunt is just not a very good footballer

I dont think he was the worst player on the pitch, we never lost and never really looked in danger of losing.

creatively we were dire and Lucas was poor, but so were the others around him mostly because they played internationals in mid week and couldnt summon a performance and what is Keane's excuse? I dont know... but anyway, playing Alonso does not make us immune to getting a bad result infact we have lost league games with Alonso and Gerrard in the team at Spurs and had other occasions where we have dropped points.

the hysteria is crazy

Yes, but the point is that you have a better chance of winning if you play your best players, not your worst ones

Alonso is one of our best players, the anti-brazilian cunt is one of our worst
There, I have made it a binary as I can so that even you can work it out

so what are you going to have a lengthy moan about when we get beaten or get our next 0-0 with Alonso and Gerrard, hopefully it's not for a long, long time but it's going to happen.

I suppose you could moan about the lapel badge Rafa chose to wear and wave a white hanky or something

Are you trying to imply that the selection of players has as much impact on the match as Rafa wearing a badge? Really?

yes I am. Football doesn't follow fan logic of play the bestest players all the time and we'll always win. we will drop points with Alonso, Gerrard, Torres, etc. in the team and we will beat teams we haven't beaten for a long time in the league like the Mancs and Chelsea (away) with them on the bench or not at all.

it's never so simplistic as x player didn't play so we didn't get a result
