It must be completely surreal for those involved with the World Cup bid, because isn't our new stadium included in the host cities campaign? As far as I know, the Merseyside tender, which is due to be submitted on 26 November, will still put forward Anfield plus the two new stadia being planned in Stanley Park and Kirkby.
