What do you think of the 'He's really an attacking Midfielder thats being used as a defensive midfielder' thing?

Spearing looked good in his place because he was always looking to push forward and was on the attack all the time, whereas Lucas plays defensively (or negatively) almost all of the time.

Could it just be the mindset that Rafa has pushed into him?

Could he actually shine in a more attacking roll?

I think he's better attacking than dfending; unfortunately his attacking isn't so good. 🙁

The only times I've really seen him attacking was one of his first games v Everton where his shot was handled on the line, and last night.

The rest of the time its been the usual shouting at the telly stuff, Oh I think there may have been one other attacking show in a European match?
