I'm not so sure. He's not the kind of attacking fullback that Klopp seems to prefer, but on the other hand Klopp made him skipper in one recent game and had some very good things to say about him at the time. I'd say it's still a case of "Watch this space" with Flanno.
1 win down, 3 to go for the remainder of the season.
8 changes and we win comfortably 2-0 and it should have been 4 or 5-1.
There's some really encouraging signs here, the attitude of the fringe players was terrific against a physical ale house side who have overpowered lots of teams including our so called 1st teamers this season.
Thankfully the manager and players didn't treat the game with the same indifference as many on this forum.
Fuck's sake we can and should finish 6th now, it's a springboard into the final and everyone of the lads today put in a shift, I'm chuffed to bits watc
West Amm 'as to lose for us to reach 6th. 7th is the best we can do without relying on other teams.
No, they don't have to lose a draw will do. Can't see them beating Man Utd now that City have gifted them a Champions League place
In the summer we should sell Ibe to Manchester City for £40,000,000!
Or swap him for Sterling. Would love to know on a professional level if Sterling still thinks he made the right decision in leaving. Will be interesting to see how his career pans out over the next few years.
Hopefully he regrets the day he ever employed or met Aidy Ward.
£200,000 a week probably the biggest factor
Ibe can't even make an impession in this glorified training match.
Ojo already looks a better player than him and he's played 44 fewer 1st team games for Liverpool.
In fairness to Ibe, he looked a lot better than Ojo when he got a run in the team after coming back from loan.
The idea that he could easily replace Sterling and even surpass him was ridiculously naive but he is a better player than he's shown this season. I'm not sure he'll make it for us but should have a decent career.
