In Klopp I'm a believer.

Yes, now I know we can all look forward to the final in 2 weeks time but before that we still have to focus on 2 league games ...2 wins would be much welcomed and would boost our confidence in build up to final.

XI for watford; Ward Flanagan Caulker Skrtel Smith Lucas Stewart Allen Ibe Ojo Benteke

Havent we got 3 league games?

Anyhoo,

Ward
Flanno Lovren Kolo Smith
Allen Stewart
Ibe Coutinho Ojo
Benteke

Dont want Skrtel or Lucas in the team

lovren and coutinho should be nowhere near that team. They need to be rested.

We cant rest people for 2 weeks. Maybe on Sunday but they'll have to play before the final.
I really dont want to see Skrtel or Lucas in that team.

The final is two weeks away. Why the fuck would we let Stewart, Ibe, Smith, Chirivella, Caulker, or any of that lot near the team? How would that team win? Lucas, Stewart and Allen is just about the worst midfield in the league.

We owe Watford for that dismal battering earlier in the season. We can't just let this league campaign drift.

It's just about OK to include squad players like Allen, but as far as possible I want to see a good side, and a win. Certainly be interested to see Benteke start with Quality support.

For this game
Mignolet
Moreno
Skrtel
Kolo
Clyne

Allen
Lucas
Stewart

Lallana
Benteke
Firmino

Id rest Milner, Coutino and Can

Screw that. Takes one daft injury to a key player to make all the difference on the day of the final. rotate the first team players over the next few games before the final so they keep fresh and fit, but as rested and injury free as possible.

did klopp expect the side he put out v swansea to win?

and i haven't included chirivella, he shouldn't be anywhere near the side. as soon as he came off at HT for lucas we looked a much better side.

and tbf i don't think klopp cares an iota about this game and we'll probably see a similar team to the 1 i'd play.

Any of the young players that stood out should continue to get minutes, not arsed about the rest. I'd continue to play Kolo and Moreno next to each other though

Ward
Flanagan Skrtel Toure Moreno
Ibe Allen Stewart Ojo
Benteke Sturridge

Rest them all for Watford and WBA, but play a full strength team for the Chelsea game....simple.

If we make sixth we guarantee at least Europa League next season. We should be looking to overhaul West Ham in these last few games

I see that it is ok to post Lucas hate posts in thread after thread but if I defend him then I will get a lot of shit thrown at me.

Maybe some of you should start to support all of our players instead of hating some of them. Yes it is hate, don't come and say that it isn't because it won't matter if the player plays a good game, you will still post your shit hate posts.

Support them FFS.

I hope we don't win this game but if we do I hope we lose the next one. We have not got a good record of getting three wins in a row this year and I for one would like to win the Europa Cup Final.

There is no chance we will risk the players who ran their bollocks off less than 3 days ago in a nothing game tomorrow.

The first team will play midweek against Chelsea in our last home game of the season and the fringe players will do a job for Watford and WBA.

Some of these are facing the Klopp cull so should be fully motivated.

Ward, Flanagan, Skrtel, Lucas, Smith; Allen, Stewart, Branagan; Ojo, Benteke, Ibe.

Love to see some of the juniors on the bench too, Woodburn, Philips, Gomez etc.

I'm looking forward to the game, there's no pressure and there's a brilliant feel good factor about Anfield at the moment, we have our MoJo back as supporters

Going into the season I thought we had quite a large squad but here we are and it's pretty hard to come up with a competitive B-team. Injuries have been a real killer this year.

If we play that team, my advice would be to not look forward too much to the match.

These matches when Klopp puts out a bunch of players with squad numbers starting with a 5 can be quite interesting, and more than once this season we have been pleasantly surprised by the results.

However I have bet a tenner on a win for Watford at 6/1.

For me, Ojo is the player who stands out from the current crop of youngsters. I think he has star potential, although like many young players he needs to toughen up a bit.
