I. just for you, although i always thought i was easier to decipher than I on the computer which looked too much like a 1.

i do commas and full stops though 🙂

On balance, I think we deserved a win yesterday. We had 2 or 3 excellent chances at the end to win it whilst fathead settled for a point.

That's what I thought after watching all the various highlights of it. It was a lot less shit than I expected after the impression the match thread gave.

Yeah, we definetly had the chances to make it 3-2, and when there was 6 mins added I was pretty sure that the winning goal was coming.

The 4-4-2 was pushing Sunderland back, and we had people upfront for a change. Agger should have gotten the header on target. Both GlenJo and Torres also had great chances.

This really must be something for Hodgson to work with, as we see now that 4-4-2 should be our preffered line up at home and away at sides we are supposed to beat.

Get men forward, put the opposition under pressure. The 4-2-3-1 is just not working at the moment, and Torres is horribly isolated. We can't string to passes together and lose possesion nearly in every attack.

Should Sunderland had a pen when Reina took down Bent (??) just after half time? I had been furious if we hadnt been rewarded a penalty in similar situation.

IMO yes they should, and so would I have been, but (as others have said) we also benefited at times from the referee's general sh!tness.

So we very lucky to avoid a pen and a possible redcard situation, but since we also benefitted from the general shitness of the ref it is nothing worth mentioning?? Haha.
