Man Utd Watch - 2022/23

Redcafe is a delight :

Once again Ten Hag is being tactically battered. Eriksen experiment has been a disaster and now his short CB has been exposed for his weakness.

This is crazy. Literally he's showing he's a mid table manager in the prem.

If FDJ watches this match, he won't join us even if we agree to pay 2x17m of the deferred wages.

I'm sorry but you just can't be 5ft 7 and a CB in this league.

We're done as a football club, top to bottom.

So tell me again why we trusted Ten Hag's judgement on the players he wanted to bring in, despite knowing nothing about the PL, and chose to ignore our scouting recommendations?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You know what, that was a banging goal, not even gonna moan about it

COCKS OUT!!!!

Great to see a United side with a proper manager in charge.

Ten Hag could get sacked after Liverpool if it's this bad, seriously

Maguire should be arrested

I can't keep up with the pace they are posting AND watch the match at the rate the goals are going in !

---------------

Rabiot and arnautovic will fix this lads.

Is this worse than the fall of Liverpool? We are an even bigger joke than them. Last season we did these scorelines vs big clubs, now we show off against brentford...

I'm rooting for Brentford now

We’re actually bottom of the league

Martinez is good going attacking the ball, with the ball behind in space these 2 games have shown huge, maybe impossible to fix, issues.

Ten Hag was warned that Manchester United is a club where top managers go to die.

Rabiot’s wage demands just doubled as well.

phoning Bet Fred to see what odds on our relegation

Weird feeling of actually enjoying this.

I'm thinking goal difference here. Might be crucial in the relegation fight.

Is it just me or have the commentators just stopped saying anything for like the past 7 mins? Your brain just shut off from the disappointment. It's protecting itself.

I'm trying to be zen about this. To rebuild, we must destroy. Right now we are in complete utter self annihilation mode.

Surely Pochettino would have been a better/safer choice? Oh well...
Yep. I mentioned much earlier that Ten Hags has it all to do to prove himself in this league and that his desire to bring in multiple Dutch players was more than a tad iffy ... both he and United may have over-reached.

Hope he buys a couple more 5 ft Eredevise players with no pace for 50 million each before the transfer window ends.

Neville is whinging about the glazers again. Comparing utd owners , to city , Chelsea and Newcastle and how they put their own money into the club and the glazers only use money made by the club ...wtf
Love how he didn't mention us
Redknapp put him in his place

Redknapp is right though
Is he though? Utd have repeatedly appointed new managers without getting the structure in the club right. FSG lucked out with Klopp, but they have invested in the stadium, training facilities and repeatedly made good appointments in the club's hierarchy, as well as putting in sound continuity plans at all those levels. United appear to be run like a shit show in comparison, and the buck has to stop at the Glazers. I mean, that's obviously great, but Neville's right.

Yeah, I was going to say something similar, Neville is right. Their owners have proven they either don't care about winning trophies or they haven't a clue on how to set up their club to do so. The only way United turn this around is by changing the people at the highest levels, to someone that is capable of setting up the club for success.

Gary Neville is always on the owners and investment in the team. Just spent 55 mill on a CB that cant defend. Thats 135 mill on two CBs that cant defend now.

Money isnt the issue. You’re just shit at spending them.

Unfortunately i think the glazers will sell up soon, now that they’ve ridden the cash cow into the ground and it needs major investment

I'm still not ready to stick the boot in. I remember many a game we should have wiped the floor with Utd. Only to see a reverse.

I remember Tiabi having the game of his career against us.

There are no easy games against this lot usually.

From RedCafe:

======================
For years our rivals have built skyscrapers and we've just been concealing cracks with lead paint on a crumbling palace where we've also stuffed the old foundations with plastic bags filled with cat shit. Yes I wrote this instead of watching the last few minutes so it's overly dramatic but still ffs.
Under Sir Alex, when we lost a previous game, I felt confident that we'd win the next one. The opposition were in trouble because the players wanted to WIN. They hated losing. So we'd go out and keep playing until the job was done. Everyone went on about Fergie Time and our late equalisers/winners but the reality was that United were just too damn stubborn to know when they had lost.
This current team, though? Five minutes into the game and things don't go perfectly? Their heads drop like fecking stones. They accept defeat because they're fecking useless. Brentford didn't even play much in that second half and we still did nothing. It was bad enough when City did it last season...
Every player needs to feck off. And the board and owners who have allowed our team to get to this point over the years and let it keep happening need to feck off as well. None of you cnuts are United. I don't even know what it means but, whatever, eat a bunch of spoons.
Biggest club in the world?! We've fallen so far behind our rivals because the club has accepted "below average" as the standard for ten years. From background staff to players we've been coasting, letting players build their "brand" and useless, clueless executives leeching a wage from the club for barely doing the minimum in their job descriptions, whilst other teams just breeze past us because they have experts in the right senior positions - which should be the real bare minimum requirement for the actual people put into those jobs.
And Liverpool are up next? feck me. Even when Liverpool were shite they were still proud of the shirt, their history, their retired legends. These fecks won't even bother. They'll just feel sorry for themselves, tell the press that it's not good enough and they must try harder, and buckle under the Scousers as soon as Salah pounces on the first misplaced pass. FFS, WE used to be their yearly Cup Final - that's how important it was for them to try and beat us, because they actually had pride. There's feck all chance of us having the same response now that the tables have turned.
Because these clowns are not Manchester United, they're Bruno8 (and whatever brand names the other players have) who just happen to play for United. If they actually gave a shit about the club they wouldn't buckle like this all of the time. feck the players. feck Murtough. feck the Glazers. feck all of them.
Bottom of the table. Exactly where this shower of shite belong.
