'The gap is only 5'

Lol we grew the cunting gap and didn't play well, it'll have to do.

City have a tough month coming up , there is every chance we can grow the gap some more

Shite. Off the hook due to City, but could be a big 2 points lost. Would have preferred Divock on - Studge is anti football.

Hahahahahahaha

Quite. I wonder what some game some people were watching and it's always the same posters, it's completely predictable. The same ones who were calling Robertson pathetic or whatever after a rare mistake, still championing Keita on every performance, based on the fact that he just has to be brilliant one day, because he was great for his last team and because he plays for Liverpool or Klopp, or whaever other rose tinted CDNW bollocks. Instead of just saying it like it is - it hasn't worked out well so far, he's been either a passenger or a liability.

Leicester have been excellent in defence. We've been unfortunate with some key decisions, but we also haven't helped ourselves. Salah and Firmino didn't provide enough direct threat, Shaquri and Firmino were both crowding out the number 10 spot to no effect. Their goal was all our own making.

We finish the week one point higher than City, against a side which beat City
which is significant. However we need to both smarten and sharpen up to see this over the line.

Klopp messed up with the starting 11 too ... shaqiri should have come on late against tired legs ... but whatever, 5 points ... let's hope we don't remember this mistake by Robbo like we remember our last quality LB's final big mistake ...

Very poor. Not enough drive or positive intent tonight.
A real missed opportunity to make City squirm.

Credit to Leicester, they defended brilliantly and denied us any space or time.

We should have had a pen. Maguire should have been sent off, so we were very unlucky, the ref gave us NOTHING all night and seemed to be really enjoying himself in the process.

Anyway.

We led by 4 points. Now its 5.

NEXT!

Two points dropped there.

Mane good, Van Dijk good. Gini ok. Hendo ok.

The rest didn't show up.

Matip shouldn't be anywhere near our team. The difference between him and Maguire is night and day.

Need to bounce back with a big win against west ham.

This, it feels like a massive wasted opportunity, but the facts are we've opened the gap, putting the pressure on City heading into a torrid run.

I hoping Klopp will work on the players after this game, it was a turgid performance, somewhat expected due to the injuries, suspensions and the fact that VVD was a shadow of himself, however I hope Klopp uses this to kick the complacency out of the team.

Yeah let's keep some perspective

Fucking Jordan Henderson started at right back and keita started in midfield with a half fit matip and vvd at CB - a point will do !

You can't slag off a striker for being greedy.

That's literally what they are there for.

He's scored from similar chances before so why not give it a go.

Depends on the context surely, there were players making runs into gaps that were much much smarter options.

We played with a midfielder at right back. Our talisman of A CB was clearly not fully fit. They scored a goal scored by a player who would have been off the pitch. We didn't get a stonewall penalty. The pitch was shocking & we couldn't pass it properly, which considering we were in possession so much, hurt us more than them.

The over reaction to drawing against a side who beat our closest rivals on their own ground is mental.

We could have done better, sure, but if this is our bad patch this season (I'm pretty sure it is), then it's damn sight better than citeh's bad patch.

This could be turned around on how you see the game too - he's had a tough year for many reasons - even his most ardent fans can see that. If you're slamming him today, you should be doing it to most of our players and it's OK to slam Robbo for a stupid stupid foul that cost us a 1-0 win, or be gutted that one of our crispest moves in the 2nd half - started and finished by Keita - should have been a penalty. Why the need to be either or? Gray doesn't work in analysis anymore?

We were average at best today. However, it's a point ... so let's move on to the next game ...

We needed two eyes on him to appreciate his true brilliance. Any less than two eyes and he looks like a catastrophe.

Still, he won't be starting the next game and only played tonight due to a crippling injury list, so when we get our first team players fit again he'll be back on the bench

Where is the conspiracy now? 5 is better than 4. Hopefully we don't drop too many points from now on. Come on you reds.

Really ? - whose been praising Keita ?

Just want to say - shit !!! - could have done with those two points - you guys realise it would have allowed us to lose at least two games !!! - never mind.

Hmmm I don't really buy this. Other players get reprieves because they've performed before, they've got us in this position and we can largely be thankful to them for getting us challenging. They can be forgiven more for having off days. Klopp is trying to force it with Keita when we least need him to, we stability and reliability. There's a difference between Robertson making one mistake in however long and Keita putting in another nervy, largely nothing performance.
