It was indeed Hendo. His distribution's been a revelation since he's been picked further forward, but that was maybe the best yet.

Two really positive things come from this tournament for me...
We just keep on winning, and winning trophies is contagious. This time last season, it was "super team, but can they finally get over the finish line..?". Three trophies later, we keep marching on. 'Tis beautiful.
And Joe sliding back over to CB beside Big Virgil, and looking like he's almost back to where he was when he got hurt last season. When they're playing at their peak, these two are easily our no. 1 CB pairing, and though the circumstances are unfortunate, I'm delighted that they're back together.

Not in this game, no, and It's a fair point, which I missed because I was only really thinking about Hendo's passing overall.
His touch, ability to turn with the ball, left foot, and one touch passing is all infinitely better than when Klopp took over. What an amazing manager.
I always thought his distribution was good... but we've built that type of play into our game now... Its highly effective!
