Dreadful. Some players might have an excuse for looking jaded after playing nearly every game for three years but the likes of Shaqiri, Chamberlain and Origi should look a lot livelier than they were tonight. No substitute for quality or should that be no quality substitutes.

He can at least push forward, him out of the middle has had a huge impact when need to set the pace. When was it we last had a shot on goal at home, it’s shocking. Need to bed in one of the new defenders and get Hendo in middle. The current misfield is too static, easily handled.
Whatever happens with this team this season I strongly believe we're going to win the title again next. Sad thing is it could easily have been three on the bounce had fate not dealt with us so harshly.
He played most of the 2nd half as our deepest CM once Gini went off. And had any of the front three been awake his chips and passes could have lead to one or two goals.
Klopp has to start having a rethink about his subs, he knows what they can do and what impact they don't have. Origi has been dire for ages and it's pretty criminal that he's been able to put in half arsed showings repeatedly while Minamino has been shipped off, regardless of Klopp's "height" argument. Origi's height has done precisely fuck all for us for over a year.
As for the rest, Trent once again was lax for the goal, him and Robbo spent the game tossing in cross after cross aimlessly instead of trying to work an opening, the amount of time Trent gets the ball on the corner of the box with a couple of yards infront of him and then stops and shapes to cross, it's infuriating. Yes they are both great crossers of the ball, but when it's a different sort of game where that's just not paying off, they need to do something different.
I don't blame Henderson or Phillips there, both defended quite well, it was other players who were (not for the first time) flat and short of ideas. And Klopp needs to fuck off with his too late, reactionary changes. It was obvious at half time what was wrong and we then spent another 15-20 minutes trying the "Shaq on the right" experiment where he inevitably turned into trouble onto his left foot. Garbage, amateurish tactics. We keep doing the same shite that just doesn't work, in the hope that it eventually will. Like Burnley and West Brom didn't teach us anything about these sort of games. We'll get snotted on Sunday if we don't get our shit together.
