I don't think we will be signing any more players, seems to be all focused on Aqualini at present and with the season about to kick offI would have thought if we were to sign someone, we would have done it by now.
At least the money will mean we wil make the interest payments this year. Thanks Yanks.

Silva is limited. He's like that gay, spineless fella Arsenal had, can't remember his name. Went back after 1 year.

Well we have differing opinions then. I doubt many on here would say he's useless (even if they don't think/are unsure he'll adapt to the prem).
 
riera is in the team ahead of silva on occasion. i think he is not because he's a better player but in a team with such attacking options and playing 442 riera adds balance. we do not have flair across the pitch in the same way nor do we play 442.

if we played 442 i'd have riera on the left but to strive for balance i'd have someone other than kuyt as right midfield.

in a 4231 i'd rather have silva on the left than riera.

there is a place for both riera and silva in our team

I've not been much of an advocate for buying Silva but it's worth bearing in mind for those who watched the Confederations Cup and wondered why Riera was starting ahead of Silva, as it's rather obvious from the last couple months "WELL WHY IS RIERA AHEAD OF SILVA THEN?!?!?!" posts quite have a few have done, that Silva was returning from injury.

Or you could just try watching them both playing football. Riera's a decent but limited player. Silva has his flaws - too small, too skinny, not lightning-fast - but his brain works at about ten times the speed of Albert's. He's just a class above.

Somehow people continue to comment on how Riera started ahead of Silva in the Confederations Cup ergo he's a better player and we shouldn't sign Silva... as Keni (along with about fifteen hundred fucking others have mentioned Silva was injured).

And yes I'm pissed at the moment... Arbeloa is prancing around in his new club's colours (surely Alonso will be on in the second half) and Spanish Man United are walking all over Toronto FC.
 
Barca have had a 20m euro bid for Mata rejected. Should they sign him valencia might well hold on to Silva.
