Liverpool related transfer speculation

Your "Jones world class" comments disqualifies you from every discussion regarding player potential.
But Jones is world class - and from all your posts - you have an issue with any English midfielder, - I think you look at all them and have Henderson PTSD. Jones is the best midfielder in the club and actually Europe has the best stats of all our midfielders currently - you need to swollow it, and Kerkez woud be like signing a fucking lemon.

Napoli are preparing a move for Liverpool attacker Fede Chiesa.

Chiesa was only sold by Juventus in August to Liverpool, but he has struggled for form and fitness in England.

As such, Calciomercato.com says a return to Serie A is now mooted for Chiesa.

Napoli chief Giovanni Manna is a fan of Chiesa and wants to bring him back to Italy during next month's winter market.

Manna has held talks with Fali Ramadani, the agent of Chiesa, about the prospect of a loan deal.

Napoli are not ready to pay the player's full salary
, so Liverpool will have to cover part of it if a loan is to be negotiated.

FFS, every move into the Italian market ends up feeling like a con.

I'm surprised that we havent seen us move for some South American gems yet in all honesty. Would have thought that would fit in with the vision of Edwards. Hopefully we try to sign some of the next superstars.

We rarely operate in that space though. South American gems seem to cost a decent amount nowadays and I dont think the risk to reward ratio is worth it. We like to operate in the 21-25 year old with experience in top european leagues.

Yeah, previously. But with Edwards new role and the possibility of multi club ownership I think we will operate in that market as well. Not every gem will be expensive. The talent pool is so big.

Bear with me...
Chiesa to Napoli
Georgian Lallana to us
Diaz to Spain

Everyone is happy, Marma - vili gets a friend.

Yes, I think the club prefer what they see as less risky investments rather than hit and hope on a bunch of speculative purchases.

The same philosophy is at play in holding onto players at the risk of letting them go on free transfers. You know what you're getting and you use all of that contract. If that means forgoing a transfer fee for selling them, it also means avoiding one for replacing them sooner and the accordant risk of a flop.

Would love Olmo, said it on a few occasions previously that he'd be the perfect Firmino replacement someday.

However, I read a couple of different articles yesterday that Barca have agreed a 100M deal relating to hospitslity suites for 20 years with some middle east group, so think they going to be able to register him now
