I'm so tired of refs ruining the game. I don't even blame them really. Often they are supposed to make difficult decisions within few seconds. Obviously they'll get some calls dead wrong now and then. Last night in the Bayern-game. Last week in the Liverpool-Derby. The Sunderland beach-game. Etc. Etc.

The time is ready to take action and make sure the sheer randomness of wrong decisions stops ruining the game. E.g. had we not WON over Everton I'd still be livid by some of the shocking decisions throughout, that obviously left us in a right pickle.

Give every manager a Ref-shout, one per half perhaps, where they can force the ref and his fourth official to look through any given incident if asked for.

I know there's still room for error but the BIG decisions will probably be more right than wrong. Whenver a manager gets the refs backing on a decision (e.g. Felliani thrown out as well) he'll get to use his shout-card one more time in the same half.

People claiming it'll ruin the game more than the refs errors, because of the intervals when refs are looking through incidents, should just think about how long time it takes for the ref to shrug of angry players who feels they've been hard done by. I reckon in the Felliani/Kyrgiakos case our players were closing the ref down for several minutes. Rafa should've had the opportunity to throw in a shout immediately and then make the ref look through the incident again and then perhaps change his daft initial decision. It would even help the refs course too I'm sure, not having to linger on too long by any abysmal call.

Let the fans at the Stadium/at home watch the incident again as well, when the refs are looking through it on video. Would be rather exciting too I reckon.

I'm simply fed up with game-changing decisions that never should've been.

Ha ha.. yeah it's not looking to good.

You can't have a challenge system in football, because the game could potentially be halted for 22 times each match, not including freekicks, etc, and that's just too long.

Video replays should be used to determine controversial goals and red card's.

Also retrospective action should be used far more widely. It shouldn't matte if the Ref "dealt with it at the time". He might have got it wrong...

Football's far too stupid and slow to implement these changes, however.

I wouldn't even go as far as red cards to start with Squiggs.
Some kind of goal line technology is all they need to bring in for a start.
Then perhaps bring in a TV ref for penalty decisions, red cards etc,

I would if there was any uncertainty amongst the officials.

A red card changes the game more than a goal, and should only be done with the most utmost conviction.

Theres been a TV Ref in Rugby and Cricket for friggin years, and it only takes about 30 seconds to re-run any incidients.

Goal line technology

Spray paint ten yards for free kicks

Ban a (blatant) diver for 3 games.

NEVER stop the game unless its a head injury or a limb falls off.

Refs stand still when a player "charges" towards them instead of backing off. If they touch the ref, red card.

If anyone other then the captain or person involved in an incident starts swearing at the ref, 3 match ban.

All easy to implement.

Fifa will not implement the first one because they're bellends. The diver one would require retrospective examination for certainty before a ban should be issued.

i really want the spray paint one though. They do it in other places, it's just fucking annoying watching the ever so sly, blatant shuffle forward opposition walls do
