Yes, a striker called Lazar! Been linked to him by someone on TLW...17 year old Serb playing for Partizan Belgrade.

"A friend of me is married to a serbian woman, and he speaks the language fluently. I got him to translate a couple of articles from the serbian press, and it seems like the interest is genuine. The fee mentioned is between €10 million and €13 million."

One of the best young talents emerging on the European stage. Markovic has all the hallmarks of a young Michael Owen.
He is fast, skilful and direct. Most importantly he also knows where the goal is.
Markovic expressed a desire to join Chelsea and they have certainly shown interest but they need a striker who can come in now with pressure increasing on Andre Villas-Boas.
That has allowed Liverpool to step into negotiations and they will look to wrap up a deal.
However, the price will be around £8million and the deal is more likely to be agreed now but put on ice until the summer.
Markovic only made his debut last May but has scored six goals in 16 games this season and is on the brink of a national team call-up.

I would suggest, however, that if you need to flash a shitty circle around the player in each of his own highlights then you're doing it wrong.

Chelsea in race with Liverpool to sign £16m-rated Markovic

Chelsea are looking to beat Liverpool to Partizan Belgrade's 18-year-old attacking midfielder Lazar Markovic.
Former Chelsea boss Avram Grant, currently coaching Partizan, is understood to have recommended Markovic, who earned his first cap for Serbia in February.


Wanted: Markovic (left) is on Chelsea's radar
Liverpool and Tottenham are also interested but Partizan want around £16million and would also like to have him back on loan.

tbh i'd rather spend the money on someone else. It seems we never learn our lesson, it's too risky throwing 16m (Shaqiri & van der Vaart) at an 18 year old who has had one good season. We need players who've been great for a few seasons....i.e. Papiss Cisse or anybody dmishra mentioned. If we are able to splash the cash then i'm ok with that. He'll probably end up at Chelsea anyway because they have been purchasing excellent youngsters from around Europe and loaning them back/out to gain experience and aid their development.(Courtois, de Bruyne, Kakuta, Bruma, van Aanholt, McEachran, Ulises Davila, Delac, Kalas)

We should be looking at established players like Krasic or Diego (for free).
If we're gonna do one big money signing, I'd like it to be either Martinez or Jovetic.

Yeah, only seen him 2 or 3 times and unfortunately he's looks very mature and commanding for his age and could replace Cech any time.
