I guess my beef is that his labels are so arbitrary.
Like the game against Stoke, he was clearly playing as a wide player, yet he deemed it a "forward" goal, or the one against West Ham, where all of a sudden his position became irrelevent.

I have no problem with you disagreeing with my 'labels'.. neither do I have a problem conceding that the goal against Stoke, on reflection, was scored from the (left) wing.. but I do have a problem with you completely & quite deliberately misinterpreting my post, or rather, surmising it to simply 'all his goals are irrelevant' to suit your own agenda. Leave that nonsense to Brendan.. he's actually good at it.
I didn't watch the game yesterday. But I trust in Squiggles that it was a goal scored from the wing position (seemingly he actually understood my original point). Wahey.. chalk it up to another goal scored on the wing. Now what? I've never said he's never scored from the wing or couldn't.
Vlads asked for a breakdown of his goals (and where he played). I gave it to him. The evidence, at the time, showed he scored most of his goals irrelevant of position on the field or as a forward.. he could go on to bang another 10 goals as a bonafide winger.. and i'd love that.. so now what's your beef?

Your evidence is flawed and misleading. That's my beef. You keep twisting the facts to (would you believe) suit your argument.
Against West Ham he was playing as a winger, but "NO!!! It's irrelevant where he played! It wasn't a winger goal, cos he could've scored that goal from any where"
Maybe he could've but he didn't. He scored it when he playing as a right winger, so wear it!

He tapped the ball over the line from half a yard, from a goalbound Gerrard header from a CORNER. His striker's instincts would have had him score that wherever he was on the field. If you can't accept that (as I have conceded the Stoke goal), then i'll debate no longer as you're clearly not after a debate rather an argument.
Such a goal is hardly proof that he's a good right winger or he gets goals from that position. If that's your black and white logic, I suppose the penalty he took against Spurs (which I labelled irrelevant of position) would go down as a forward's goal because he was a centre forward in that game? Which would be BS in my opinion, and not worth the effort.
