Kuyt doesnt seem to like anysort of pass and move play in to the area, more often than not Stevie G has to do it himself like against Bremen. I know its only pre season but i have been frustrated with Kuyt, i agree with Bren that he will score more this year but will he score enough to cement himself as our main goalscorer.
If its a choice between him or Crouch im with the big man everytime!

Kuyt's a good player. He's strong, holds it up well and has good intelligence and did really well in his first season here in a team not known for its attacking. I think he has it in him to get 20 goals this season in a better attacking side.
Certainly i dont understand why people feel the need to say he's crap, cos he's certainly not. However it's a big season for him this one. Let's see if he's up to the challenge.

New posters should follow the protocol of arriving quietly, let people get used to them, and aclimatise to the little idiocyncrasies on both parts, and then and only then start acting like an utter twat , I would suggest 300-400 posts should be acceptable. Otherwise they will find themselves ripped to shreds by all the regulars, even the ones that don't get on. Being here for five minutes and acting the twat is not on and is unfair to the many who are working their way up to that stage by the correct route.

Depends on the abuse. There are some very skilful practitioners of it on here and when they get going, preferably against one another, the thread isn't necessarily ruined, just spiced up a bit. In this case, though, there's a certain originality missing.
