More sad news

Bloke who owned Odeon Cinemas has died.

His funeral is on Friday @ 2:10, 4:20, 5:50, 6:40 and 7:30.

Taboomtish.

'Money we don't need' for servicing the debt, presumably?

But if Rafa signed that agreement, why have Inter been linked to Mascherano all summer without Hodgson mentioning it before?

i ain't looking tho......

Even a lawyer of Rosco diminutive professional stature could defend Rafa from charges of poaching Kuyt by simply pointing out that if anything he looks like he's been left under the grill.

A friend of mine just started his own business manufacturing land mines that look like prayer mats.

Apparently Prophets are going through the roof

I am only little.

Kuyt is average with occasional periods when he punches above his weight.
Had he decided to fuck off a bit earlier for £15m, I would haqve driven him to the airport, as it is it's a bit late in the day.

regards

Or 'money I won't know *how* to use'
Yes because he's spunked a lavish £4m up the wall so far.

has 'today' not come yet? How many days has gone by since this thread started? Will today come tomorrow?

the Board are allegedly in favour of refinancing
I would love to see something that points to that.
There isn't anything. He made it up.

Hicks has set up a company called "Hicks Acquisition II" - this is all in the public domain - essentially it's a company which attracts investment in order to acquire and run other companies.

Now, I have no idea what Hicks plans to do with whatever investment capital he gets.. but to rule out the possibility of organising a refinancing or indeed a full take-over of Liverpool should not be ruled out.

We know how much he thinks Liverpool is worth. If he gets the price he wants, we all know he'll sell.

If he doesn't get the price he wants.. do you really think he'll just allow the banks to repossess his asset. Al the RBS care about is getting their loans repaid... I'd imagine they don't give a flying f**k who, how or where the money comes from.

There are only 3 things that can happen :-

1. We're sold to a new owner.
2. The current owners re-finance or extend their loans and remain in charge.
3. The bank calls in the loans - which are defaulted on & take control of the asset either manging it directly or putting it in to administration.
so that doesn't suggest in any way that the board are in favour of refinancing. Thanks.

Any fee over 10m will get Kuyt, he's decent but not great; however it would leave us incredibly short of options for the team.

Cole, Pacheco, Maxi, Babel and even Johnson could cover Kuyt's position.

On a personal level, I'd be gutted if he left.

I love Kuyt, and frankly very few have given as much commitment as him.

When people talk about local lads giving their 'all' or being true 'Reds' I actually think about Kuyt and Reina as much as I do Carra an Gerrard.

But he is a limited footballer and if a good offer came along we'd be stupid to say no, whether or not it's too late in the day.

Exactly how I feel avey, great post.

£13m according to Soccernet and again interested in buying Mascherano.

Rafa is starting to piss me off with his late offers and it seems he´ll be breaking the agreement not sign any liverpool players.

Would you pissed off if he broke the agreement to pick up Lucas (on a free....)?
