You think it's time for Robbo to sit down?
Also, do you think Tsimikas would be a good option on the left wing when Mané leaves for the AFCON?

Personally, I think that Robbo needs a rest. Tsimikas has done enough to get a few games. He's also a much better crosser of the ball than Robbo.

Don't think it'd hurt to play Tsimi over Robbo for the next few games just for Robbo to get that much needed rest.

As far as playing him as a winger....no thanks. Give Sadio's minutes to Minamino.

Kostas is in the team on merit now, he should keep his place until he needs a break or picks up a knock. I know Robbo is one of Klopps stalwarts and he's not going to keep him out of the side for long, but it's great for the squad to see real competition for places. Robbo has been off the boil for a while, he's played a lot of games and it shows. Ideally Robbo will get a break and come back in for the Milan game in 2 weeks to see where he's at.

I wouldn't drop Tsimikas. He's done little wrong all season and deserves a run in the side.

Robertson has played a huge amount of football in the last two years and is playing like he needs a rest. He's doing fine but his delivery isn't hitting the target.

Have you seen Cancelo play lately?

Kostas should get a good run and Robbo told to rest up. I wouldn't want Tsimikas at LW, i'd want him as the competent and aggressive LB with another forward to support. His end product and decision making looks very good, which as mentioned is where Robbo is lacking at present.

Cancelo is probably ahead of Robbo now due to current form. We're just lucky to have a great back up in Kostas. He's been fantastic.

Still not sure on him defensively, but he does look a very good back up for Robbo

Do you all remember the heady days of Paul Konchesky as our starting left back?

Now we might even have two of the best in Europe. What a turnaround

Noticed how little pace Kostas has compared to Robbo against Arsenal. It's the only thing he's currently worse at though.

Truthfully I have not. But yes he's one of the names I'd have on the shortlist.
Not that I take any pleasure in saying this, but Cancelo is fast becoming one of the best defenders in the world. He's one of those players (like Virgil) who has no weaknesses. And being six feet tall and very strong in the air, he offers something more than most players in his position. He's a special talent, damn him.

He's a great understudy, and I hope we utilise that fact and rest Robbo more this season to ensure he's firing when we need him.

Yeah, he has really just kept on improving.
City do spend in a diff league to us though, 60m for a left back.
The full backs in PL are so dominant now, Chelsea’s lot included so it’s very important.
Neco, did ok yesterday so hopefully gets more game time.
