Not that I take any pleasure in saying this, but Cancelo is fast becoming one of the best defenders in the world. He's one of those players (like Virgil) who has no weaknesses. And being six feet tall and very strong in the air, he offers something more than most players in his position. He's a special talent, damn him.

Salah has exposed him defensively a bit when we played at Anfield, but in all other aspects he’s frighteningly good this season. Such a marked improvement on Zinchenko or Mendy the rapist for them.
