Hansern, scouts don't watch the players that their club has already signed. They watch players who play for other clubs. That's how they identify targets, if they watched their own club and scouted their own players then they'd just keep recommending to the manager to sign players that he has already signed and the whole system would break down.

Dave Fallows was head of scouting and recruitment at City. I'd imagine he has a pretty good idea about the players City already have in the squad.

he's been captain in loads of teams and won shit loads, he'll be pretty handy to have in helping out any youngsters coming through i imagine and would certainly be a good backup to have or someone to come on as a sub to sure up the back, something you really need an experienced player for
