I'm not gonna go into how much we've spent, been there and done it, but to be honest mate, do you genuinely believe that if we hadn't had such bad luck and injuries this season, we would still still be in the same position ? every team gets injuries but we've had alot more than most
Torres - missed alot of games
Aurelio 1st choice left back last season - out for most of the season
Gerrard missed alot games as well - and been mostly awful when he has played
Skrtel and Agger - constantly picking up injuries all season
Johnson - out for a couple of months
Riera - criticising the manager
Aquilani - even when he came back, he was out for a few games due to bein injured
That's Aurelio, Torres, Gerrard, Johnson, Riera, Skrtel, Agger, Aquilani all not being able to play most weeks

That's a fair point, if it's being claimed that we should have won the league. But even with those players missing part of the time, it's the results and performances against teams that we should beat even without them, like Wigan, Stoke, Portsmouth, Sunderland, etc... and the utterly dire, passionless bilge that's been presented to us all too often, this season and last, that has me where I am.
Those injuries and a l;ack of squad depth are valid reasons for us not challanging for the title. They're not valid reasons for fighting to hold on to 7th, which depending on this weekend's results, we may have to win our final game to secure.

Yep, this too. We shouldn't lose one or two players and look like a midtable team. We've looked like a midtable side with a full team at times this season. Not good enough. And that's down to the manager and his tactics.
