Days like this make me hate football. The team is in awful form and some of you are in danger of becoming similar to Newcastle fans, wanting to change manager at every turn.
I totally agree, you can't fuck off the manager everytime there is a rough patch as you'll end up with a new manager every year. every manager *cough* except hodgson *cough* deserves at least three years to fully intergrate his ideas and put his stamp on the squad. how many of the 22 squad members are kenny's? it's not 'his' team yet.

No one has said he should be sacked. Show some respect? Fuck off bellends.

Fuck off yourself.

Kenny's interview after the match showed how angry he is and the players had better take it seriously.
Oh well that makes it all the better.
Yes, that's what I was aiming for. Bloody hell!

There is no point is changing the manager before the end of the season regardless of the two cup results. I was one of the more vocal people who didn't want Kenny, but we've got to be behind the manager regardless until then.

I don't think adam getting fucked out of the club is a big loss, he needs to much protection before he is effective and his play is so slooooooowww...

Kenny Dalglish: 'I won't stand for a repeat performance from my players'

If you missed the post match interview.

Credit where it's due. Heads need to be chopped Kenny.
Shelvey, Suso and Adorjan please. Oh and Aurelio in the middle instead fatty McFat.

And...yes I'm serious, I'd be more excited about having those three on the bench than Adam, Downing and Kuyt.
Suso still isn't playing that well. Adorjan is promising but he's nowhere near ready for the first team.

he's (kenny) right though, we played in such a lackadaisical way as if with bolton winning fuck all points at home all we had to do for 3 points was turn up.

I'm not gonna argue with you Gk but from what I've seen, Suso and Adorjan has it in them and maybe playing for the senior side is the encouragement they need to make it. Still it's more exciting having them on the bench what harm can they really do, I mean we've seen how much Kuyt and Downing have contributed.

Great, he's angry. But what can he really do about it? There's zero competition for places, there's just the same malaise we've had for a few years now. If you're shit, you might get dropped, but you'll get a chance again in a bit, because your competition is also shit.

Bellamy is a brilliant stand out in our side right now, and he's just a hardworking, solid player. That's all. That's all it fucking takes to shine. We've clamored for Maxi Rodriguez to be included, and he's likewise only a decent player.

In my opinion we should sell Kuyt asap, if there's any value left in him. It is shit for me to say that, because he's been a great, hardworking player for us, and his attitude is streets ahead of some of the fucking cowards that play for us. I think his legs are just gone now, and that's a lot of what he had. We are going to sell him anyway, so anyone we can get who has an ounce of skill on the ball and is a smart attacking player would be good short term.

modo you don't or shouldn't blood kids into a struggling side. these are the kids formative years and a knock to the confidence now and it would take them ages to recover. I don't think any of the kids younger than 20 are ready.

100%. That's why we're Liverpool, not Chelsea.
Correct.

We always give managers time, and Kenny needs it.

Til the end of next season, at least.

well there wont be a mass clearout in the summer, mainly bcause we don't have that many players.

carroll - maybe
maxi
kuyt
aurelio

I can see being moved on, beyond that?

You're doing Bellamy a massive injustice there. He's a class little footballer with pace to burn, two good feet, skill and intelligence.

He's just about our only shining light at the minute. If only he was 5 years younger.

Like I said before in another thread, if you don't make it at 19, you'll probably never will.
Regarding your theory about blooding younger players in a struggling side, when should you give them a chance?
When we're on a roll you'll find some people saying that we shouldn't change a winning side.
There's always an argument against playing youth players.
It all bottoms down to if you have the balls to do it or not.
Souness had the balls to play Macca and Fowler despite us struggling in the early 90s.
Gerrard was played when Redknapp was injured.

then he'd be playing for liverpool

In an ideal world a 32 year old Bellamy wouldn't be starting for Liverpool and to be honest when he signed I saw him as a bonus player. Suddenly he's one of our most important players.

I hate the term "blooding the kids".

What does it even mean? Play them if they're good enough they stay, if they're not they don't. It worked for fergie.

I love Bellamy, but he's not a top class player, he's very good. Very good looks like world class in our team, especially if you like to attack.

They don't need to be world class though, just better than average.

To beat a shit Bolton side in the relegation zone, we needed better than average players and we aren't blessed with a huge amount.

Selling Meireles (not exactly world beating) was a fucking terrible decision.

And as for him losing it after hillsborough (I'm drunk but I think it was earlier in this thread), all I can say is I believe that experience proved he was one of the finest and most wonderful people to ever be involved in football.

Sure it's not a reason for him to keep his job, but it's a reason for me to support him beyond logic.

Edit: and I'll add, if Kenny goes then I hope he resigns (and not the usual mutual agreement shite, I mean he actually wants to go). If Kenny's sacked then It would upset me greatly.
