the sad thing is we're not missing that many players

suarez
lucas

are the only players we are missing that would make a difference to us.
our squad, though lean is filled top to bottom with mediocrity.
They are our two most valuble players though. Next to Stevie

how many games left before suarez can play again? 3? suarez could come back to the side with the season over and nothing to play for.
Yup. When hes back we could be out of everything.

That said, we started the season in three competitions, and we're still in with a shout of two of them.

Winning a cup would mean a lot.
We need to win something.

Wednesday is HUGE.

I haven't lost belief in Kenny, I didn't expect over night success, clearly he's got it wrong tactically in the last two games.

Our biggest problem is the fact that we've brought extremely poorly, we've misspent a huge amount of money, but as it goes I'm not sure who the buck stops with on that
It not just the last two games though, he has been getting it tactically wrong most of the season in my Book..

haven't got high hopes for that game, especially in the wake of bolton (bolton ffs! taking us apart thought the middle).

Champions League qualification is Bigger in my opinion if the club want to move forward.. We are seriously in danger of becoming a mid-table club..
Thats like saying winning the league is more important. Its irrelevant as it isnt going to happen.

in danger? we are a midtable side, 5th down is midtable.

Kenny's interview after the match showed how angry he is and the players had better take it seriously.

Andy Carroll is Kenny's liability. Get rid ASAP!

That's exactly what I dreaded when he was appointed.
Kenny the player was god for me. My all time favourite player. My idol as a child/teenager. He still is.

He then went on to be player/manager and put together than magic team of 1987-1989, which played the best ever football I saw any Liverpool team play.
But then there was Hillsborough and all seemed to have gone wrong for Kenny and the club. We did win the league in 1990, but the football wasn't the same - too defensive and causious at times - and some of the players he brought were not of Liverpool standard.

When they appointed him again last year as a caretaker manager I had my doubts. I was afraid it would be the Kenny of the last year of his first term. However, some of the footy we played last season was brilliant and he brought Suarez, which was very promising. So I thought - great! he's proving me wrong.
Then those signings in the summer (and the Andy Carroll signing) - I had my doubts, but hey - it's King Kenny who I adore! So I decided to trust the man and hope for the best.

It's not looking good now. The players, the football, the results. It hasn't been looking good for some time now (there were some rays of hope, but it's genrally quite gloomy).
I really hope it's just a blip and the pieces will eventually fall into the right places soon.
I will alwyas love and adore Kenny Dalglish no matter what.
I really hope he's going to tuen things around. I can't say I'm optimistic though.

Shit signings outweigh the good. Odd tactics and formations, players not knowing where they are meant to be playing. Not good. I still think the owners missed a trick not appointing a young manager and letting him build a squad. Dalglish was out the game too long in my opinion. They're now in a position where they may have to part company with a club legend. Not demeaning his successes in his first stint as manager but he took over a great team then, not one that needs rebuilding.

Oh .. I actually meant 25%.
Big fingers, small screen.
Oh so now you think you're BETTER than me because you're giving kenny more time

*shakes fist*

I can't get away can I.

Well the yanks ain't going to let sentiment get in their way.

I want it to work for Kenny I really do but he may have to accept that he has spent badly and sort it out quickly

I think I'm gonna put a tenner on Brendan Rogers being our manager next season.
Id be ok with this.

I love Kenny, but the way we're going at the moment is really starting to question what he's doing.

Firstly most of the summer signings have been absolute garbage.

Why on earth is Henderson still getting games? He really is a nothing player.

Adam and Downing have been absolutely shocking signings. Brainless and clueless.

Then there's Carroll who looks nothing more than a Sunday league player.

Yes, that's at least £70m on average players at best.

Firstly our tactics this season have been absolute crap. Way too defensive. Luis/Carroll way too isolated and devoid of any support.

Poor Luis had been carrying the team for 3 months. We look absolutely hopeless without him.

Not playing players in the best positions. Can't create any chances, let alone score any goals.

No Lucas or Suarez. No signings 21 days into the transfer window to cover them either. There is no urgency on or off the pitch.

It's an absolute mess at the moment.

Our midfield was sorted during the summer am I right?

Gerrard
Aquilani
Meireles
Adam
Lucas
Henderson

It's a fucking enigma this...we had a better team in August than we have now.

I'm sorry FFF but I can't help mentioning the "we score more goals without Suarez thread".
I can spout some outlandish shite here from time to time but you must have had an off day when the day you created that thread.

Oh well that makes it all the better.

I didn't want him in the first place.
I didn't want any of his fucking signings, and the only one I've been wrong on is a left back.

And I don't want him now. Get someone in who has a fucking clue about buying players in the 21st century and whose tactical nous amounts to more than *clapclap* "come on!".

I'm wondering if Kenny will survive the season.

If we get knocked out of the League cup and lose to Man U in the Fa cup. Our season is pretty much over and so will Dalglish's I'm afraid.

league contribution (this season) from players bought in last two transfer windows (goals) after 22 games
suarez - 5
bellamy - 4
carrol - 2
adam - 2
henderson - 1
downing - 0

Days like this make me hate football. The team is in awful form and some of you are in danger of becoming similar to Newcastle fans, wanting to change manager at every turn. If anyone deserves time and patience, it's the King.

Threads like this are for the likes of Sam Alladyce not Kenny. Not Kenny. Show some fucking respect.
