Pope seems like a real "Moneyball" signing. It could be spectacularly good or spectacularly bad.
Richardlison looked very good in the first half of the season and at twenty one, you would expect some dips in form/performance

I agree than none of those names inspire they way others recklessly bandied about would...
But haven't the club earned a little faith over the past 12/18 months of transfers? Our last several transfers have seen Mane, Salah, Van Dijk, Ox, Robertson, Keita and Fabinho join us - Every single one of them is either already proven to me a fantastic addition or new players that we're salivating over.
Not every signing can be a $75m Colossus, and I'll give the manager and the club a lot more leeway that I would have previous incarnations. Let's wait and see how we look in August before declaring us a the same ol' pile of shite that we've been for 25 years, eh?
They probably won't with them both playing in WC (well salah hopes to).

There's no context here, but that doesn't look great to the uninformed eye.
Last time his name came up there were suggestions from within Germany of an attitude problem as well.
Excellent facing penalties. Generally a good all-round game, but whether he'll become one of the top keepers obviously remains unknown. His big test will be his ability to concentrate for the whole game. There's no reason why he shouldn't now be tried as our number two, but if we've got the desire to really push on we need a top class keeper here and now.
