Arguing about the "length of the ban" demonstrates he and we aren't really sorry at all.

And for me it lets Suarez off the hook. It's campaigning for him. All this fucking nonsense about Defoe and others just panders to Suarez and doesn't hold him to account for his sections and the subsequent repercussions we'll experience as a result of him not being there.

Imagine we showed as much contempt towards him for what he's done as we will in adopting this fawning victim bullshit. That way it might expose to him how fcuking badly he has let us down, he might learn something that way, and we might learn something shout ourselves as a club. That we have some standards, that we hold people accountable for their actions, and that certain things aren't accepted.

We won't though. We'll blame someone else for this, we'll act like victims, we'll excuse him, welcome him back with open arms. And the result will be that he lets us down again in the future, and more importantly that we missed a chance to set some standards. What sort of message does this send to any youngster or potential signing? That we'll excuse your shit. That's all.

The message it sends to youngsters is that if you're the darling of the media/teacher/person in charge you can get away with sweet murder/whatever shit you like.

If you're not, you're fucked and made an example of.

He apologised, the club publicly denounced his actions. Letting him off my arse. He's been disproportionally punished. You know like he was when he got an 8 game ban for racial abuse but Terry got half that. There's taking your punishment and there's standing up to say you're not prepared to be shafted right up the ring piece.

So we'll apologise and denounce actions but only if we get the ban we think we deserve. Not really apologizing is it?

Can't we take the FA to some sort of court and blow our transfer budget for next year suing the fuckers - I would be happy with that

We seem to have found the only American owners who are wimps when it comes to litigation. It's quite amazing. The best Henry can manage is to snub a club legend at Wembley. Give him a bigger challenge and he's curled up in Boston, weeping softly to himself.

Using Ryans bog-logic. If he stole a bottle of Guinness from Mrs O'Flaherty's store and was caught, and he apologised to her and every other cunt around, and thought he was getting a fine, they decided to hang him, his protests wouldn't count as he was clearly not really sorry in the first place?

Do me a fucking favour, I am not in the mood for all this shite being spouted by O'Hare and Murphy - that sounds like a firm of builders

Suarez deserved a ban, no fucking liverpool fan has disputed that. But the piss taking FA might have well given him a 5 trillion quid fine and banned him, his kids, and grandkids from every playing in england ever again.

Don't think Ryan understands proportionate sentencing.

He says fans are fawning and that he isn't accountable for his actions.

But then no-one has said he wasn't guilty or deserving of a ban. So I don't see the fawning.

Suarez has apologised, publicly and privately and has been fined a substantial amount of money as well as banned.

I don't see what more Ryan wants?

Out of the club?

I think it was more a case of apologising, accepting the charge of violent conduct and hoping for somewhere near the normal suspension for violent conduct. It was pretty obvious from the FA statement that it would be more than that but Im sure that Suarez and the club were hoping/expecting somewhere in the region of six matches.

Personally I felt very let down by Suarez last Sunday. For the life of me I cannot understand what he was thinking.

But no way do I think that 10 matches is a fair suspension.

Maybe he wants posters on a forum to stop posting?

Or people talking about it in the pub?

Or supporters of a club to stop wanting the best outcome for it's players?

Dunno.

Can someone start a separate "What Ryan Wants" thread?

Anyway, he's just trying to get a rise out of ye and it's looking remarkably easy.

Same here, he's got to go home after the game, and have the conversation with his missus as to why he felt trying to bite someone was a normal thing to do. He let us down, himself down, brought shame on his family. He needs psychiatric help, he's not well, but fucking brilliant at football.

Really?

Well I'm taken aback.

It's pretty easy isn't it. Hopefully when the 10 match ban comes through you'll begin to realise what kind of complete retard we have in charge of the club

At the time I was exaggerating to make a point. At this time I want Ferguson to die of accidental asphyxiation.
