His on line persona was definitely completely different to his real life one.
In real life he was totally sound and couldn't really offer an explanation why he was deliberately being a cunt to some people on here.

I'm with you on most of that. I don't mind people being cunts (up to a point), but I draw the line at racists.
I have to do something in between Tayto Wars.
The latest example is LTW. He had valuable insight on the middle east that you wouldn't find elsewhere and not from a source you have known for years. What happened? A bunch of unfunny and unclever posters attacked him, let's be real that's why he left. Now all you have is a bunch of people expressing their feelings to each other on the middle east.
That's probably why other people are in turn leaving. Nobody gives a shit about reading about someone's feelings, that doesn't provide any insight or any value. So the forum quickly becomes a waste of your time.
Yeah that's true - He was unnecessarily quite mean to me. Given where my head was at back then it was very shitty. To me, and in the view of other very sound posters on here he very much crossed the line. Some may remember... . It lead to Sunny leaving which was a real shame. Ross got pulled up on it though which at the time meant a lot.

The one time I met Rosco, he was completely sound.
However, that really shouldn't mean it's ok to treat people the way he did online (even though some of the people he did it to are infuriating), and his trolling to generate interactions / traffic (or whatever other way he justified it) wore out its novelty many years ago.
Also whilst some of the newbies are a little "challenging", most of them are completely harmless and easyish to ignore.

Well it was news to me when I found out. He'd been on here and koptalk for years before someone pointed it out. It's true though - I'm pretty much the last to know such things.
