His control can be read (maybe misread) as coldness. A little bit of passion shows everybody know where they stand, whether its because you are delighted or disappointed with your players.
I find it extraordinary that Rafa has never had harsh words with Babel. His detachment is to a degree that it blocks his ability to have a personal impact on his players.
