Yes. And it probably means having to pay a few extra quid to convince new players that whilst they wont be playing in the CL next season, they will be the following season. It looks like we've lost A Young (not saying I wanted him) because he wants to play CL football .

20 million on Henderson is probably at least 10 millionmore than wha he's worth.

I'd rather keep that 20 million, add another 15 to it and bring in Mata and Defour.

We're far from being in Leeds situation though. We have 37 mill in debt for once, and havent planned our future soley on being in the CL.

Its a slight concern that we are potentially spending so much on someone so unproven definitely but I would rather wait and see what other ins and outs we have planned this summer before getting too worried.

Being like Leeds and over-stretching ourselves financially is not something that I can see happening at the moment at least. Certainly from appearances our owners seem pretty sensible and experienced, and its not as if we are relying on CL money at the moment to stay afloat because we don't have any.
