Traore and Itandje weren't even African, were they? Or did Traore give up on being French at some point when he realised he was shit?
Yea Titi was great. Especially underTiti.
Attacking full backs, wasn't it?that too

Both were born in France. Traore played for Mali while Itandje plays for Cameroon.
Back to Matip for a sec, are we happy with this? No such thing as a free transfer but is anyone opposing this deal?

Remember his goal against Leeds? Cracker.
I was at the game when he played just after his Dad died and scored. Think it was West Ham. I could be going mad though

He cracked one in off the bar?? It wasn't a full Yeboah but a cracker.
I remember that West Ham game too. Green away shirt?
Yes, that was a fine display. As was his performance against Barca. Great wrecking ball at his best. Totally clueless at his worst.

I guess it doesn't matter but there's quite a pronounced black/white ethnic divide at the club in terms of informal groups. You usually see Studge, Benteke, Sakho, Ibe, Origi and Kolo together, the Brazilians together and the English guys together. Quite natural I guess, but a teensy bit of a pity there's not more of a mix there just for squad solidarity. At least Matip will have a ready-made clique to cling to.
Yeah I was at the game. I can't remember it being a "cracker" but I'm quite sure it was a decent finish from a tight angle. I sat with my brother amongst the home fans and my lasting memories were of how jealous their fans were of Camara and particularly of Jamie Redknapp. My other memory is of Darren Huckerby running offside about 800 times, he just looked as if he didn't understand the offside rule and the Leeds fans hated him for it.@Piedro is usually good at this, so is @Aidan O' Neill
Right lads, did Titi Camara score a cracker against Leeds?
Found the West Ham game on his wiki.
Camara is best remembered for playing at Anfield against West Ham in October 1999, the morning after the death of his father, scoring the winning goal and then dropping to his knees in front of the Anfield Road stand with tears flowing
One Scouser lady whom I know here in the Midlands has a brother who's a season ticket holder. He's told her he heard this started when Balotelli was there and the black players began to congregate around him.
And the community or charity shield performance against Chelsea where Ballack got completely Momo'd.

He scored a right rascal against Coventry I think.
I'll try and find it.
Loved Camara and yeah you didn't know what you were gonna get from him.Correct.
I fucking loved that guy. You just didnt know what he was going to do. Neither did he like, but it was still fun to watch.

How very fucking depressing
It's natural, some just might have more in common with each other, music etc.Blimey. I've been debating with myself whether it matters at all. I guess it's not that different from the 'Jocks' club' that was evident when Kenny, Souey, Hansen and Nicol were around, but, I don't know, it seems more noticeable after Houllier made such a big thing of combating such cliques in the club.
