Over the last few weeks I've had a few interviews for a 6 month work placement that is part of my course.
I had a day long assessment centre yesterday and have just been told I got the job (after about 20 mins on the phone getting feedback that sounded slightly negative).
Chuffed does not even describe it.
I have spent the last few weeks getting slowly more and more depressed about the situation as company after company would take me through to the final rounds of interviews (200 people on my course) but then say "we were impressed but the other person was more impressive" etc. It is such a relief and I can now actually concentrate on my studies for the next 6 weeks before I start!
Anyway, I'd like to apologise to a couple of people who I tried to vent my anger on, Oncy and FFF. I was a dick and the post I made last week was both irrational and pretty uncalled for. I love you both, and this site!!
