Wow, what are the odds of that?
Getting diagnosed with cancer while actually in the Big Brother house in India!

That should be her new reality show actually.

'Jade Goody Travels the World collecting life-threatening Diseases'

First up; India for a bit of vag cancer.
Next week Jade will be off on her travels again, this time hitting the streets of Mexico looking for used needles. Go Jade!

Re: Jade Goody has Cancer

Nobody likes cancer, guys.

Although, there may be exceptions to the rule regarding certain individuals.

There is some sense in what Fox is saying here. If it's mild and beatable she will milk the fucker for all she can get out of it, no question.

Guys seriously WTF?

Have any of you had cancer in your immediate family?

Because if you have you should be ashamed of this.

Oh DB, i think everyone here recognises how awful cancer is and the pain it causes, i'd have sympathy and wish well with all my heart to anyone suffering from any form of cancer.

But when she's clearly milking it on tele, doing newspaper interviews about her struggle and generally milking her condition, i have no respect for her, it's disgusting and an insult to the fragility of human life.

If she fully recovered and fought off the disease and then gave some interviews about it, then fine. However at the moment she should be laying low, spending time with her family and concentrating on beating her horrid condition, not turning herself into a money making circus act, it's disgusting in my eyes.

Re: Jade Goody has Cancer

I have no clue who Jade Goody is, and from the sounds of it I'm a lucky man.

Re: Jade Goody has Cancer

She is fucking repellent.
Shes like hard-on kryptonite.

Re: Jade Goody has Cancer

The cancer issue has been covered by people already. What pisses me off about her is why is she on fucking TV telling everyone about it? Is anyone in the entire world genuinely interested?

Re: Jade Goody has Cancer

BBC said:
Jade Goody 'has months to live'

Mr Clifford says Jade Goody is now getting her affairs in order
Jade Goody has been told she has only months to live, her publicist Max Clifford has said.

Mr Clifford said doctors at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London broke the news to the former reality television star on Friday.

The mother-of-two is now getting her affairs in order and making plans for her sons' future, he added.

Last week Goody underwent a successful operation to remove a cancerous tumour from her bowel.

Mr Clifford said: "She was aware that the cancer had spread but they said unfortunately it was a question now of when rather than if and when she pressed them as to how long she'd got, they said 'months'."

The 27-year-old learned last week that cervical cancer diagnosed in 2008 had spread to her bowel, liver and groin.

She's being incredibly brave and positive about all of this

Max Clifford on Jade Goody

Mr Clifford said her family were trying to cope after finding out her cancer had become terminal.

He also said Goody's boyfriend Jack Tweed had proposed to her in hospital after receiving the news.

"It's been very difficult for Jack, he proposed to her yesterday and they are going to be getting married as soon as possible," said Mr Clifford.

"Both boys are going to be christened also, Jade is taking control of the situation.

"She's being incredibly brave and positive about all of this."

Experimental drugs

He said Goody would have to explain to her children - Freddy, aged five and four-year-old Bobby - the severity of her condition.

Mr Clifford added that Goody was hoping to spend a few days away from the Royal Marsden next week to be at her Essex home with her family.

Goody is understood to have been receiving an experimental drug to fight her illness.

Topotecan, which is still being tested in the UK, has been used in cases when patients have not responded to other medicines.

Goody has already undergone chemotherapy to combat the disease.

Speaking after surgery on 6 February, she said: "The hard truth is I'd be dead if they hadn't cleared the blockage in my bowel.

"The tumour made me constipated and caused my body to start bloating.

"My biggest fear was that I would have to have a colostomy bag."

Goody has continued to appear on television and speak to the press throughout her treatment.

I had to read that a couple of times to understand it. I thought "detah" might have been scouse slang for something.
