Nobody wishes Jade Goody would die Rog. We just wish she would quit playing it out in the media.
Now, I don't live in the UK anymore so I wouldn't know how much media coverage's on her. But I watched how she'd risen to notoriety in Big Brother and Celeb Big Brother. I was around when everyone hounded her for being the thickest person in the history of Engerlund.

But still, it doesn't warrant the hatred and hypocrisy that this tread's sentiment has shown.

You said nobody wished she would die. Why ? Is it cos she's got cancer now and suddenly that last bit of conscience left in you tells you that it's 'kinda' sick to wish someone would die from cancer, succumbing to popular trend in, as Andy calls it, faux moral values ?

Or is it cos you think it's just sick wishing death onto anyone ?

Majority in this thread wished she would die initially and suddenly she's struck with cancer, you hypocrites start to pretend to show some empathy ?

Fcuk off.
What are you so angry about,Rog?

No one here likes Jade Goody.

Oncy is perfectly right when he says that few will really mourn her loss; but that's not the same as wishing for her to die.

At the same time, you don't have to like someone to have sympathy for them, which many people here have also expressed.

Take your fine self,for example.

Most people here would rightly regard you as a hateful, spiteful creature.

But no one here wishes for your death, and would have sympathy for you if anything bad happened to you (touch wood!)

Disease is a horrible thing. I've just finished writing a (fictional) account of the end of the world. A disease which causes people's eyeballs to suddenly fall out strikes the earth and thousands of us go blind every day. It's only after a few weeks that a Swiss doctor figures out that people are dying in alphabetical order and that the disease has been 'designed' by a malevolent entity.

I'm not saying that there are any similarities between this disease and the Jade Goody case but I often wished my eyeballs would fall out when I saw her on TV.

Onky, poor form in this thread fella
fuck off. Not one person who has posted their 'oh shame' guilt saddled little posts really gives a fuck about jade goody. Everyone puts aside their usual 'shes a vacuous, horrible, media whore cunt' feelings and gets all faux sad and shit, whereas when she dies, they'll all whip out the jade gøody jokes...well actually they'll wait a week or two so as not to get leapt on as insensitive cunts. In reality, they wont give jade goody a second thought when they find out shes popped off this mortal coil. Yeah, shame for the kids of course, but life and death are what they are, and no amount of tiptoeing around it will change that. Should i (because cancer is a terrible thing) pretend i give a fuck about jade goody? Maybe, but fuck that, id rather be honest and seen a cunt, than simper and seen a wonderful human being. I dont want her dead of course, but could i (or you or anyone in this fucking thread) actually give a fuck? No. We couldnt right? So why pretend? Good luck to her, i hope she pulls through 'for the kids' (btw would it be acceptable to not give a fuck if she had no kids?)....im rambling, sorry if ive offended you, i like you, and i didnt mean to do that. X
Well I'm sure you'll be glad to know that Jade got some good news this week Oncy.

She got twenty quid for her hairdryer.
Obviously, not everyone will wait a few weeks like.

Watch out Mr. Hughes, if the Goody's are being struck down it won't be too long before it reaches you.

I know you're attempting a funny story to diffuse the potential uproar of tantrums and egos in this thread but on a side-note go watch 'Blindness' with Julienne Moore in it. It's got very similar traits to your unfunny 'funny' story.

You're just overly-sensitive to the comments in this thread because you've got personality cancer.

Re: Jade Goody has Cancer

It's a rare disease, the carrier wanders the world without a care, entirely lacking in self-awareness, while everyone he comes into contact with loses the will to live - often with tragic consequences.

Totally agree. Can't stand the bitch, but would rather she didn't have cancer, the pain and suffering. Her boys losing their mum. Terrible stuff.

A couple of side points...

She's quoted today as saying "Right now it's about what I want". Fuck off Jade. It's ALWAYS been about what you want.

Also, "I might even die on TV". This is some fucked up shit right here. Get yourself some fucking self respect, put your sons 1st and spend some private time with your family. They need memories. Not a load of reruns and internet clips from those fucking vultures at Living TV. Imagine spending your last months with a parent... and all the while you're tripping over tv cables and bumping into the sound man? FFS! Those poor lads deserve better than this.

Totally agree. I once faced an uncertain future, not knowing if I would see my 2 year old son grow up (he's 8 now). It cut me to the bone. I'm sad (for her) that she's ill, but even more sad that she's so stupid as to say things like that.

Also, why do we have to have daily updates on her condition. Are people that bothered about her? I mean its a family tragedy but there are many every day so why oh why does this have to played out in the press?

Max Clifford is milking it for all its worth I see.

Is anyone (that matters) thinking about the kids properly?

Re: Jade Goody has Cancer

Has anyone seen the 1988 film 'They Live'. Its a great movie and you should all watch it.

It has nothing to do with the thread though, but it contains a great line 'i've come here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and i'm all out of bubble gum.'. How can you argue with that?

Re: Jade Goody has Cancer

Cancer-stricken Jade Goody is to marry her fiance Jack Tweed on Sunday, her publicist confirmed.

The 27-year-old reality TV star, who was told last week she has just months to live, briefly left London's Royal Marsden Hospital on Monday in a wheelchair to exchange engagement rings with Tweed, 21.

Friend and publicist Max Clifford said that the couple are preparing for a Sunday ceremony. He said: "I spoke to Jade last night and it is all on for Sunday."

The couple are hoping to get married at the plush Down Hall country house, in Hatfield Heath, Essex.

Goody told The Lying Rag: "I am going to die in this hospital, so I don't want to get married here. But wherever we tie the knot, I'm determined to walk down that aisle."

She said she has "lost her balance", which the doctors were not sure was a sign of her illness or just general weakness. "But I'm hoping I will have the strength to walk on my big day. It would be so cruel to be robbed of that one last thing as well," Goody added.

Goody and Tweed visited Harrods on Monday where the bride-to-be picked out a wedding dress, a gift from the store's owner Mohamed Al Fayed. Sir Elton John has offered one of his homes as the location for the ceremony and messages of help and support have been sent by Jonathan Ross, Simon Cowell and Dale Winton.

Speaking on Sky News on Monday, Mr Clifford said: "This has given her something to think about, a happy event. The wedding, the Christening of her two boys, these are all positive things to focus on as opposed to the cancer and what is happening to her and what she is going through."

Mr Clifford said the star also picked out Armani suits for her two sons, Bobby, five, and Freddie, four.

Asked about her remaining in the spotlight during her illness, Mr Clifford said: "Jade has said it is the best thing for her and she is doing things the way she wants to do them. She will continue to give interviews providing she is medically able to. If she wants it stopped, it stops."

We should send Fox too

The realisation that there are *two* people even stupider than her may be such a cataclysmic event that her cancer will go into remission

Could we see if Raz, Foxwold, wellard et al are available too?

We could rid the world of this deadly, insidious killer disease forever

Re: Jade Goody has Cancer

she apparently had symptoms for 4 years before being diagnosed.

"My doctors at my new hospital, the Marsden, have no idea how this tumour was missed because a huge number of scans were taken at my first hospital.

"I mean it was the size of a rugby ball.

"It was so big it was actually falling out when I was on the toilet."

Curses, bested by Paddy again.

Seriously though Brendan maybe onto something - a conversation between you and Goody could just be so abhorrently sterile that it could render the malignant tumour inert. Show a bit of compassion Paddy, put all that stupidity to use for once.
