Jonathan Moss, take a bow son.
3 yellow cards
1 red card
1 disallowed goal
1 penalty appeal waived away
and most enjoyably, 1 Lewis Holtby hitting the floor in absolute frustration due to the decisions not going their way.
But a little more seriously (only a little) that was the best 45 minutes I've watched under Rodgers. It was great to see. It was reminiscent of the way we used to press (and dominate) under Rafa when we had that great midfield. The guys really stepped it up today and we had the attacking prowess to back it up. Tired visibly in the second half, which I guess was to be expected, so it was nice when Paulinho got sent off to relieve the pressure.
With better finishing we could've had 6 or 7 today.
