"It's complicated"? -- No it isn't, fuck off Barca - £113 Million bid rejected

Err, an hour after that duncan castles article for yahoo..

I think its a case of lemar/someone else boss coming in first or he goes nowhere. we make a bit of money, get a new signing, everyone wins*

My worry is ... if he goes to Barca this season then next season Barca will come knocking on the door for Mane ..
Its a pattern of regularity now.

Fair play to him. I wouldn't turn down barca myself

Others did the same to come here.

He gave his all while he was here.

As long as we get what we want from Barca, and the players we need, life goes on

Can't believe the meltdown on Twitter now with people actually believing that he wasn't actually injured and that FSG totes weren't gonna sell forever. Klopp clearly doesn't want a player who isn't dedicated to the cause, just because his name isn't Mamadou doesn't mean Phil can do whatever he wants to get his transfer.

Whilst I don't think that'll happen, it's kind of a point, we shouldn't be giving in to this player pressure, we should only sell when we want to or compromise, like we did with Suarez.

£160m. If that's the case, so long and thanks for all the shoes.

Well, it's euros, but that's still not far short of £150 mill, which would do (if we're changing our mind about selling, which remains to be seen) as long as it isn't £80 odd mill.padded out with ridiculous add-ons like the last offer.

Bascombe is saying all the talk of a deal being agreed is BS.

No communications or negotiations are going on at all

We're just being the cunts we accuse Southampton of being

Phooey. We haven't waited quietly while top clubs sniffed around our player and then made a bogus fuss when his early choice of club robbed us of the bidding war we wanted. FSG made their position clear from the outset and are simply sticking to that.

Pundits from SporTV were commenting on the situation this afternoon, and called Tino Marcos, a reporter who has been following the national team for years, to have his say on the matter.

Tino Marcos told Sportv: “We see a number of colleagues coming from Europe just to deal with this. It’s now a subject that mobilises the international news, this long soap opera of Philippe Coutinho’s transfer.

“We noticed in Philippe Coutinho, a bit of… he is not an extrovert player, but he seemed a little more serious, a little more focused from the moment he arrived at the hotel of the national team to training.

“We look forward to how this will unfold, fortunately the national team has several people who can help him in the conduct of this issue. But it was conducted, in my opinion, badly by the player himself and by the club as well.

“Because Liverpool itself accepted now that Philippe stayed out of the games, accepted this claim of back pain. In short, the thing is very badly resolved, we know that this is a time of much turmoil.

“I would bet on Willian to start, to give Philippe Coutinho a little time.”

Brazilian journalist basically saying that Coutinho is acting like a cunt and the club as well.
But I don't know how we're the bad guys here.

Nah. Club putting the team most capable of winning games out there. Obviously Coutinho not been best solution. Not cuntish of the club at all.

Yeah, Arsenal's team against us demonstrated the pitfalls of playing players who are angling for a move out of the club.

If this window has taught us anything, it is that not enough Twitter users understand what the word ‘definitive’ means

if any of these reports are to be believed - then there is one person that comes out on top - KLOPP - love the fact that he just dropped him from the games - shows the manager is looking for pure commitment and focus from his players. It also shows how cool he is under that kind of pressure - he basically after pre-season had to make secondary arrangements to the way we setup without Coutinho and just got on with it. I tell you - I just love the guy for those mountains of reserves he has in his character - even though we may never win a cup final.

Mmm I'd love to have a League title with a side of cup finals losses, thank you very much.

Just seen on SSN that the English (Scottish, Italian and French) window closes at 23:00 BST tomorrow, whereas the Spanish window stays open until Friday 23:00 BST

Not all over tomorrow then.
