Is this transfer saga officially dead and buried?
Aye. He nearly completed the move, that coutiniho lad. If one he had of not been so sceptical of chain mail, he'd be kitted out in the camp nou
Is this transfer saga officially dead and buried?
It's true, there's a lot of nutty right wingers out there these days (boom boom!)
... haha haha haha.Starts? This fact was established on page 79 or so of this thread.... Even the Catalan campers broke up by then (soft fuckers). Journous should talk more to 6CM campers than to dodgy agents. Kia and his likes should fuck off. Now we should tell Phil that we will only sanction a future move when he sacked his agent.
Just read the article on footy 365... what a load of bollox you lot have started !!!! If you lot are speculating he is gonna stay over reading that then dont hope for much. That article means fuck all and in conclusion is saying he is gonna make his mind up after the international break.
He's already made up his mind to join Barcelona and not to play for Liverpool, or so we've already been told. I understood that to mean, as Klopp hinted, that he'll get back to playing after the international break.Just read the article on footy 365... what a load of bollox you lot have started !!!! What are the Barcelona reps going to do, force them to sign him over at gunpoint? That ship has already sailed. All that remains is for Barcelona to save face by stringing this sorry saga along.A number of Spanish media claim that though difficult, this saga is not yet over as Barca reps intend to meet Liverpool in Monaco during the Champions League draw. If there ever was time for Ian Cotton to make a comeback, now would be the perfect time.

Yeah we need him back in the team asap. He'll get over his disappointment. I'm sure we've said to him that like suarez he can go next year.Well the good thing to take from this "entourage" comment is that it really is over and Coutinho has to contemplate a season getting into the World Cup squad. That'll do for now.
I wonder how quickly he'll recover from injury now, presumably in time for Arsenal, so he can go on play for Brazil after that.
Keep him on the 'injured' list through the international break, train him like fuck and then bring him backI wonder how quickly he'll recover from injury now, presumably in time for Arsenal, so he can go on play for Brazil after that.
I don't. What would be the point. We need him happy and performing and with our support that will happen.Coutinho can do one - I hope he gets it with both barrels from the supporters next time he plays
Let's look at this more closely when comparing to SG:-
1) SG - wanted to leave for a domestic rival - to me that is like ... proper fucking evil and that considering he was from Liverpool playing for his boyhood club. That was proper fucking mean shit that. Thinking about such a cuntish move - I saw one in Sterling - cannot stand the sight of that little cunt and my prediction of him being a forgotten man may come true eventually by the end of the season. As a case in point - ask yourselves how you all feel when you see him play for City in comparison to how you feel when you see Suarez for Barcalona or when you use to see Alonso playing for Mardrid ? - I can still look at the later players with some sort of affection and the former (Sterling) as a complete cunt. Don't forget Torres either - oh the pain when we heard he was heading for Chelsea - how bad was it for all of you ?
2) We know South Americans are bought up on a diet of Barca/Real - some of their best players in the last 30 years have played for those two teams.
3) I also think some of the shit coming out of Neymar's mouth prior to him leaving Barca also encouraged him to move - the thought of teaming up with Suarez, Messi, Neymar and to play for Barcalona - was a big allure for him. Plus - our recent history of just selling to those clubs and giving in like complete faggots was probably encouragement in itself.
4) With these South American players - you can never tell who is in charge and what dodgy relationship they have with their agent. I still remember the original Ronaldo when he left Barca for Inter Milan (worse move of his life) - telling Bobby Robson - '..I don't know - I have to go where my agent tells me...'. They just follow the money trail and shit advise from agents.
Yes - it is a piss take when you hand in your notice before the season is about to start - but no serious damage has been done so far. If he really does stay then all good - let him perform the best ever, and knock out Barca from Europe and be the focal point of our league campaign. We should all get behind him.
Those two posts look like an abbreviated version of a Tolstoy novel on my phone!By your logic, how could you possibly watch Suarez playing with affection when he tried more than any other player in our history in trying to engineer a move to a domestic rival prior to his move to Barcelona by leaking his contract (buy out clause) to Arsenal and doing a public interview to try and paint himself as the victim?
Lots of supporters were pissed off with Gerrard at the time, but moves to Europe were a rarity in England at the time so one to another English club was not as outrageous.
He'd also just won us the European Cup, and the main reason he wanted to leave was because the sod thought he wasn't loved and valued. He was in a strop, basically.
Coutinho was/is valued as the top dog here, and all this 'amicable' bollocks, fake injury, transfer request right before the season started, leaks that he never wanted to play for Liverpool again, etc, have been pretty horrible.
You can say his agent engineered all that, but his silence, or refusal to put an end to his reputation getting destroyed meant that he was onboard with it. Yes, footballers in general are thick as pig shit. Still doesn't change his intentions.
He's a dickhead to us. He better start performing for us when he's back.
I wanted to Like this post ...... but I daren't tempt fate.Lose to Hoffenheim and dont go to Monaco.
That will learn the cunts.
I don't get people being that pissed off with him. He's from Brazil and every South American dreams of playing for Barca or Madrid. It's the absolute peak of their ambition, and he had a shot at it. If anything you could feel a bit sorry for him... but luckily we've got him a long deal and he's gonna have to suck it up. There is no loyalty beyond that bit of paper he signed, I think we all get that don't we? He's not a scouser, he didn't grow dreaming of playing for us, he probably thinks we're not in any danger of winning anything soon. But he's dead good and getting better, so we need a top season from him. Be ace if he could play against Arse.
