Quite. No doubt they'll sell Coutinho in the midst of an orchestrated pr campaign aimed at making our dickhead fans believe it's inevitable, that it's actually better for the club & the only way we could possibly afford to sign shiny new players. And they probably will, cos most of them seem incapable of independent thought, never mind looking at the figures.
Even if we don't win anything, we can all bask in the glory of the profit margins & increased revenues.
Perhaps John Henry can parade around the city on an open tour bus, trying desperately to look happy, only to constantly fail, arms around his beautiful wife as if trying to prove to the world how being with her makes him happy, although his eyes betray the truth. All the while holding the club ledgers aloft for all to see, the only trophy that really matters to him.

We should obviously be looking at alternatives if we cant sign VVD. I doubt anyone has missed that point.
But suggesting the likes of Martinez and Bruno Martins Indi is just a waste of everyones time.
At least suggest someone who have the similar qualities, and arent shite.
