He didn't start, he played 10 minutes which is virtually no time to make an impression, against a side we had trouble getting at because they're one of the best tactical teams around.
Rooney played a great pass/cross for the goal which was crucial, but his overall game was poor, Wellbeck did well and I'm one of the few posters on here who has always said he's been a good player at International level - I said that before the game yesterday. No one has said Lallana is the saviour, suggesting he should start doesn't equate to our hopes hinging on him, however much you want to exaggerate peoples reasoning to suit your agenda. Maybe people just want to see him play, instead of the same old from players (like Rooney) who continuously underachieve for England. The same could be said of playing Barkley (who would have been my first choice to come on), or Lambert.
I was going to say I can't believe your ready to jump on a 10 minute sub appearance as a means to prove he's not good enough, or whatever agenda setting you're on today, are you really that desperate to see a player fail, to prove a point, that you're resorting to damning him based on a fleeting cameo in a tight game?
Why do we always have to put up with this shit from you? It's fucking pathetic mate.
