whether Man City would win the premier league before us

When Sven took over I asked the question and the forum was torn.

If I asked you 6 months ago you would have said City all the way but what about now?

Can we beat them to it now?

(Tried to find old thread but I think we only hold threads back to 2008)

At least Oncy,Doc,Acejmk,Anita,Fab,Avvy,Mamma,Ross,Count,LTW,Shelv, SG,23carra,Cobra,Red Mull,Rg, Kingding,Frogfish,Sunny, Akakabooto, Sumo,GThom,Wizardry,Budha,Bunst,PK,KHL,Fallon,Refugee, Molbystwin,DHSC, mark1975, Y1, FoxForceFive, iseered, IanTheRed, Hansern, localny, tombrown, m.l.l. , grjt, Broseidon, RolandG, TheFasterBlade, robinhood, Peatcheo, RMA believe we not only can but actually will beat them to it.

With Mancini in charge they won't.
With a more attacking minded manager anything could happen.

BUT, I actually think we'll win it next year. God knows why, I just believe it.

A gajillion pounds spent and a squad full of talented players who don't give a shit about the shirt.

Nothing's changed IMO. With Mancini there, they certainly won't. His Italian defensive mindset is a handicap.

With Kenny at the helm and our rapid re-emergence you can be sure that we'll up the ante next season and give it a right go.

With so much money behind them they should win it before we do, but I doubt they will. Money can buy you players, but not a team.

He won't be in charge for that long if he doesn't.

I imagine this season he was told to get them into the CL, which he has done, and ideally win a trophy, which they can still do.

Next season I suspect the minimum requirement will be to challenge for the title.

As we have seen at Chelsea one of the problems with super rich owners is that they often know nothing about football and expect a return very quickly.

Shity city will not win the league before us no way, they are lucky that king kenny never got the job a couple of months sooner as they would not even be in the qualifiers of the champions league we would be. Our number 19 will be ours next season fuck both the Manchester teams.

City have all the money in the world, they have a squad bigger than some countries populations yet they will not beat us to the title....

Look at the game against Spurs, win it they get 4th yet the stadium wasn't even full....That lack of support will cost them.

They are a squad full of individuals, not a team, they constantly bicker. WHen the tough situations occur they will be found wanting.

We on the other hand seem to be fully united behind the king, this will lead us to heights they cannot reach.

If it is to be believed that we have millions at our disposal for players then I don't think so.

There have been far far too many occasions where players have moaned and caused dressing room problems over there, and players have continued to be paid off. It comes a point where that wont help any more.
Here again if we develop at the rate we have since Kenny took over we will no doubt be at least challenging next season, and if the players come in and have the enthusiasm and hunder already along with being soaked in the Kenny/LFC mentality from the off they will hit the ground running like Suraez.
