It was great to see the players sticking up for each other and fighting for each other in the game at the weekend. The passion and heart and pride was there for all to see, no more head bowed miserable shit, they were into em from minute 1.
A few highlights
Carragher smashing into Pienaar in the opening seconds
Carragher smashing into Pienaar for going over on Mascherano
Kuyt celebrating with Gerrard.
Agger first on the spot at every barney pushing every cunt out of the way including the unit Anichebe.

Great to see, they really look to have instilled a bit of positive passion into their game again.

Fuck flair..heart....passion....determination.....1-0.....all day every day.

Things like that start giving me glimmers of hope.

Yeah, but we'd probably get a few more red cards too.

I think some of the tackles were allowed to stand only because it was a derby game. Moreover, we were at Anfield so there were more cheers than jeers (obv). Unfortunately, playing away means that we'll have to tone it down a bit, especially against the softie Arsenal players who will no doubt exaggerate any mistimed tackle.

Couldn't agree more. That kind of passion and belief is exactly what's been missing this season. I've no idea where it's come from, but I'd really like it to stick around.

Completely agree, earlier on when things weren't going away, the passion was missing too. Just seemed to be feeling sorry for ourselves when we conceded or lost another player through injury and let fate take it's course.
