Why? Isn’t that what the internet is all about? Insulting and abusing all before you, with wild abandon? And when somebody asks for, or tries to introduce a modicum of civility, they’re told to lighten up and “this is the real world†and basically lambasted for trying to make things a little nicer around here…
Anyway, a few things:
I did not mean ‘Biff’. I’ve never heard that one before. Poor the me, I guess. I meant ‘Biffa’. As in Biffa Bacon, the sad, simple, pig-ignorant cartoon character, who goes through life reacting with violence and idiocy to every single person and situation that he encounters. For some reason, he pops into my head when reading most of Brendan’s posts. And yet, I suspect that’s only the persona that we encounter on this forum. I suspect that the real person behind that persona is a lot more like the sniveling, upper-class twit that Biffa spends his life tormenting in the cartoon.
And no, I’m not an angry or uptight person in general. There are simply a few things that I cannot stand in life. Rudeness. Malice. Self Importance. Sanctimony. Especially when uncalled for. In other words, everything that Brendan displays on an increasingly regular basis. After all, why just say “I disagree†when you could say “Wrong again, you pathetic cnut!�
So yeah, I know that I overreact to Brendan from time to time. And I know that I allow him to bring out the worst in me. And I suspect that he gleefully masterbates furiously from behind his keyboard every time he gets somebody to jump… I need to not fall into the trap. But f#$! it… It happens sometimes.

WHen do you reckon Stevie and Carra and any other players who really truly 'love' the club as they profess to ought to start playing for free? We'd be a shade better off if some of our highest paid players refused a salary, which could be put towards other financial obligations. They're well off and they ought to forgo their salary for the benefit of the club I reckon.

Hence, taking and additional 6 million that he's not earned, just to walk away, when he knows better than anybody just how badly we need the money, suggests to me that he's not the man he pretends to be.
